Update (2019) new owners I believe. Food quality and quantity have fallen drastically. Thought maybe it was a one time deal...wrong I was. This time upset me pretty good though. Ordered out as we usually do 1-2 times a month. Got there after giving them 25 mins and they tell me they are sorry but they are out of one of the meals I had order. I can understand this as I've worked in a restaurant before and have made this mistake. So I head home with the other three meals. Pull the first one out and they put exactly 6 french fries in it. The second one I pull out has literally a ball of burnt black onion rings that turned to powder when you touched it. The last meal was missing one of two sides and the side they put in it was the wrong one. $49 spent and one piece of chicken was eaten out of the whole mess... Again this was the third time in a row that they have destroyed our meals 2 of which are children meals. it's hard to mess up a hotdog and a grilled cheese but somehow they have managed to do so. Came here for lunch with my friend and her family. Worst experience as this was the only place open as it was New Years. Felt like the waitress singled me out cause I was the only black person there and then when ordering my food she didnt care about my food cause everything was wrong or had added ingredients that I didn’t ask for. I specifically said no bacon on the whiskey burger & it only had bacon & sauce; I said no croutons on my salad and it was on my salad then she bought my friend’s mom her salad out first but didn’t ask me if I wanted mines brought out first as she claim since it’s a side with the burger she didn’t bring it out. She could’ve just asked. I just sent everything back cause I know they just took the bacon off the burger even though it was probably cooked along with the burger and I don’t eat that. I sat at the bar where there are a few two toppers and the bar seats. There is regular restaurant seating next to that and in another large room. Had a margarita (it was fine) and some carne asada tacos. They were filled with some spiced hamburger mixture. They were tasty but nothing special. It came with some tortilla chips on the side. The bartender was friendly enough and service was quick and with a smile. It was midafternoon so the place wasn’t filled with a nighttime crowd but I liked the overall vibe of the place. I would say mostly locals but I don’t know. It’s not far off of Rt91 so it is convenient. There are not a lot of signage besides at the restaurant itself so you have to kind of find it on your own. I’ll be going back to try something else. I’d give it a ‘worth a try’ rating. Nothing bad on this first trip but nothing really outstanding, either.
