Liberty Tavern — Restaurant in Bradford

I stopped here with my girlfriend based on suggestions of people we met in the area. This restaurant embodied the local culture. Everybody that we had met was very friendly and more than willing to help us out on our journey.

Our waitress/bartender was very personable and accommodating. She had checked to make sure we were taken care of at a steady pace.

We decided to order the Chicken and Buscuits based on the server's recommendations. Oh man, they did not disappoint. The biscuits were a pleasant bed for the gravy to rest on. Light and fluffy. The gravy contained a silky texture with an inviting amout of salt, which kept me eating more.

The gravy had substantial amounts of chicken to satisfy the protein craving I had, mustered after traveling. The chicken was juicy and tender, as it was similar to biting into a lovely pot pie made by grandma.

The chef came by after our meal to check if it was satisfactory. After we had confirmed thay the dish was perfect, he showed us that smile and thanked us for our input.

Overall, the dining experience was amazing, indulging us in the local culture of Bedford, PA. The charm of Liberty Tavern was evident, as was the friendliness of the staff and owners.

Decided to try this place out tonight on a wing night while visiting family in the area, heard good reviews about Monday nights. We’ve been here on fishfry Fridays and steak night and it was absolutely excellent you can’t beat the steaks here they are phenomenal but did not have a good experience tonight the waitresses were rude did not greet upon us walking in, the super tall blonde waitress took so long to get to our table to greet us, did not recognize the two here tonight we were always greeted by Felicia and Hannah when we would come in on Fridays and Jen on Saturdays, food came out cold we watched it sit in the kitchen window for 8 minutes before the waitress brought it to our table, we got a pizza with a dozen wings, even cold the food was good, asked for refills on our drinks and never received one. Asked for a box when she took our money to pay for our bills and she never came back with one, we waited and ended up just leaving. Very sad about the experience here tonight as we’ve had such good experiences on other nights our waitress just didn’t seem like she was very happy to be there, hopefully the next time we see her she’s alittle more...

Wonderful Food, Equally Wonderful Service! My New Favorite in Bradford Pennsylvania. They have VALUES here and it shows!!! PACKED on Fridays (You know what THAT means, A GREAT Fish Fry!), but They have a revolving Menu all Month long. Their take out Menu includes sandwiches, pizza, subs, burgers and variety of baskets served with fries and a pickle.
