Doc's BBQ Smoke Shack — Restaurant in Brandenburg

Didn't even want to give them 1 star, This place is very unprofessional, has the rudest and most unrespectful owner I've ever came across at a restaurant. We ordered over 80$ worth of food wasn't told side options like he said, the guy on the phone was more worried flirting then my order. Get our food carry out and it wasn't no where what we was expecting. So we took it back , he refused our money back even after getting the food that wasn't up to par. Said u took the food out of the restaurant so he wasn't giving our money back. Bucked up to me I had to ask to step back and no get defensive cause I wasn't with him. I mean who does this. Way to leave a first impression on a first time customer. I don't like BQ but my boyfriend wanted to try it. Well never again ! Most unprofessional place I've ever been to the rudest. Face it not everyone likes your food so get over it! The portions are pretty big but the prices are even bigger. The 8 oz ribeye which cost $23 was very chewy and very tough. My husband said the ribs were good and they were very tender. The brisket sandwich was also very fatty like the ribeye. The pulled pork potato cake was not very good at all the potato cake was at the bottom and very overdone. Even with extra sour cream and pulled pork and cheese on top, it was very tough and did not mix well throughout. The mac and cheese was pretty much flavorless. The mashed potatoes comes with white gravy, no option for brown. All of the barbecued Meats came without sauce. The house sauce was found on every table, and did have a very good flavor. It was a little bit sweet at the beginning and then it finished off with a little Heat but not too spicy. My husband got the rib dinner with a brisket sandwich on the side. My son had the 8 oz ribeye. I had the loaded potato cake with pulled pork. We have fried mushrooms as an appetizer which were excellent. Will no longer support this business. They make excuses and refuse to accept ownership when they are in error. They presented the situation as if you are wanting something for nothing when the issue is they can not take an order properly. Poor customer service and to many excuses, onwer offered to have me drive all the way back to purchase more food, really, that is how you make a wrong situation right. I spent way to much money in your establishment to be treated as I wanted something free. My family's business means nothing to you so we will not be returning. Was told I recieved what I paid for exactly correct however that was not what was ordered. I was repeatedly cut off trying to place my order with "Is that all" really??
