🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 **A Hidden Gem on the Ohio River – A Must-Visit for Ice Cream, Sandwiches, and Local Charm!** If you're anywhere near Brandenburg, KY, do yourself a favor and stop by this fantastic little ice cream and sandwich shop perched right along the Ohio River. This place offers breathtaking views that make every visit feel like a mini vacation—whether you're enjoying a cone on the deck or relaxing with a sandwich as boats drift by. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed like family. The owners are incredibly friendly, full of local charm, and always happy to share a bit of the area’s rich history or give you spot-on recommendations for things to see and do nearby. The shop is super clean and they practice great hygene ( I noticed they were always washing their hands). 🍩 The Ice Cream is top-quality—rich, creamy, and served in generous portions. They have classic favorites as well as rotating flavors that keep things exciting. đŸȘ The Cookies? Baked fresh daily, soft in the center, and absolutely addictive. Pair one with a scoop of ice cream for the perfect treat! đŸ„Ș The Sandwiches are something special. Whether you go for a classic or one of their house specialties, every bite is packed with flavor and made with care. You can tell they take pride in using **fresh ingredients**—and it shows. đŸŸ Bringing your dog? You’re in luck—they didn’t forget about your furry friend. They serve up a delicious pup cup that will have tails wagging and pups begging for more. It’s those little thoughtful touches that make this place stand out. This isn’t just a quick stop—it’s the kind of place you’ll look forward to coming back to, again and again. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it’s one of those rare spots that makes your day better ust by being there. Highly recommended —don’t miss this riverside treasure!

A wonderful little place on the river to get ice cream, cookies, etc. It's located directly across the street from Jailhouse Pizza in Brandenburg. The owners are super, and you won't be disappointed. They have a small selection of ice cream and soft serve treats to satisfy your sweet tooth.

$6 for a hot fudge sundae... sorry it was just soft serve icecream, whip cream, nuts, fudge and a cherry. A very average sundae with very little fudge. I can think of lower price and better options. I might give it another try on something else. But I was not impressed.

5 stars for the ice cream and 2 other guys working there, -3 stars for the third guy working.

We came here while in town for a softball tournament. There were 3 fellas working in the midst of a rush- two younger men and a mid-30’s guy who was hanging back behind the counter watching as the other two worked their tails off.

The mid-30’s guy was asked by one of the younger guys to come explain to us how the selection process worked. The request was met with apathy, which we overlooked. Our girls decided to get scooped ice cream, so one asked Parker for a cake cone and one scoop of butter pecan, which was delicious, by the way. He didn’t seem to hear her and picked up a waffle cone instead. She again stated she’d like a cake cone- but he continued scooping into the waffle cone so she just let it go and took her ice cream.

When we went to pay, the mid-30’s guy asked which flavors and which cones each person had so he could ring us up. When I explained that one of the girls asked for a cake cone but received a waffle cone, he stopped and looked me dead in the eye and asked why she’d take the ice cream then. What was pretty insignificant then turned into a situation. While Parker was most gracious about the simple mistake likely due to the din inside during the rush, the cashier was rude. I couldn’t believe this guy.

The ice cream was great and the two younger fellas were fun- joking and laughing. The other guy- he was hopefully just...

Small town, small business. Remind yourself of that when you walk in and you will have a great experience. This is a family owned store. We got the benefit of meeting the husband and wife who own it when we stopped in. Great people. They have sons that I suspect are often working there, but had this particular Friday night off. The owners were excited to see us and eager to share the features of their shop and what makes them different from other places. I got an Oreo-Banana shake, it was good. Lots of oreo. Banana was largely at the bottom of my cup, but the flavors were throughout. It was very good. My son got and shared the snickers shake with me though
man, that one was the bomb. I get snickers blizzards at DQ a lot but this shake, somehow it was like the pieces were small enough to not be chunks and instead they were like flavor pieces waiting to be reunited in my mouth as I chewed/drank the shake. Super good. As others have said, the prices seem a bit high, but sometimes quality ingredients aren’t cheap, and with the economy of today, the prices from 10 years ago are no longer a good comparison. I would suggest the prices here are similar to high-end ice cream shops in Louisville. Anyway, lots of options at this place and I would highly recommend a stop here to support a true family-owned business. Don’t miss the river view while...
