McDonald's — Restaurant in Brandon Township

The worse fast food place in Brandon. This restaurant doesn’t even earn the 1 star, so the fact that I have to use it in order to leave a review, is giving them more credit than they deserve. I have been disappointed too many times to count. Having to wait in line for 30 minutes each time for something small like a burger and a drink is absurd. Not to mention, most of the time, something is missing from my order and sadly, even old, especially the fries. Maybe I should be checking my bags, but after waiting in line for so long, it’s just a habit to get the hell home and not make anyone else wait. When I call, I’m told I can come back for the missing or old items, which no thanks. I’ve already wasted my time, and money for what I initially ordered. Then I’m told I’d have coupons sent, never received them on multiple occasions. Today, the food was thrown at me. I’m just glad I had a hold of it before they let go. Now onto the next thing where they’re always out of something or just don’t have it. Couldn’t get a single coffee drink today because they were out of something. The last time, they were out of slushies. The time before that, it was apple pies and I could go on and on. I’ve lived here for 5 years to give anyone an idea of how long I’ve experienced the same thing, over and over. Why I kept going back is beyond me. Then they advertise all these delicious bakery good on or around the menu. Welp, not allowed to order those either because since they’re attached to the gas station, assuming it’s a contract they have and since the gas station is the one with bakery goods, they’re not allowed. Which ok, I understand that, then DO NOT advertise them! It’s not fair for the average consumer purchasing from this McDonald’s to be falsely advertising food items. That is just my two cents and if it weren’t for today’s awful service, like the many times, they could have saved themselves from another bad review. I’m just thankful Brandon is expanding and I will no longer be bringing my service or money around this...

I have been there MANY times so this is a longer review. I keep hoping for “McDonalds” speed and keep getting let down after a 15-20min average waiting time in the drive thru and that’s with just me or me and one other car. The order has been wrong almost every time to the point that IF they actually do get it correct I am truly surprised and amazed. I’ve waited behind one other car for at least 15mins while I was only waiting for a shake. They did not pull the other car forward to the drive-up wait parking off to the side. Those spots are there for a reason at other McDonalds.

I ordered 4 McGriddles one time and some other sandwiches for my employees. I didn’t open the individual wrappers but I guess I have to from now on. All 4 McGriddles where JUST THE BREAD/McGriddle part...NOTHING between them.

Just the other day I ordered 4 bacon egg and cheese biscuits and 2 SAUSAGE EGG AND CHEESE BISCUITS. I didn’t get SAUSAGE EGG AND CHEESE at all...I got 2 EGG HAM AND CHEESE MCMUFFINS. How’s that even possible? One of them was so cold that I threw it out on I90. The other was warm though.

There were other times, both drive-thru and dine-in but you get he point.

I finally got fed up with this place and called them on my way to work. I could hear them in the background but nobody was talking to me. I hung up and called back and some guy answered. I told him the issue and he said he would have the manager call me when he/she got in...I never got a call from anybody. I didn’t think they really would call me back anyways. I do not know that I have ever been to another McDonalds when a Manager was not there...ever.

They are SLIGHTLY faster if you just order at the counter if you are ever in a hurry, but no promises there either.

The staff is usually quite friendly, but always slow and do not really seem too trained to handle anything fast...

Food is like every other McDonald's (so there's 1 star) and at least they have that right. What they don't have right is the slow service and getting your order right every single time. Check your receipt and your food to make sure it's what you ordered. It's a shame, because it used to be a good place to eat with fast service.

Update: I ordered 2 cookies, but never received them. If you're thinking that I'm going to write a silly review about not receiving my 2 chocolate chip cookies, the struggle I went through to get them, along with an overdramatic narrative, then you're damn right. Don't get me wrong, I love me some good cookies, but when it takes around 20min to gimme 2 chocolate chip cookies. Damn. So, after waiting 20min for just 2 chocolate chip cookies (and contemplating my life decisions while waiting, thanks McDonald's for that) I finally received my glorious 2 cookies that costed me $0.78. My mouth was watering as I reached into the bag and prepared my mouth to make sweet love with these cookies. I felt a mushy sensation, but it wasn't a good mushy sensation. It was a moist and poopy sensation that all the hand sanitizer and God could not help me. I lifted my hand from the poopy sensation and my hand was covered in this brown gooey stuff. I assumed it was chocolate, because it didn't smell weird, so I took a risk and licked my hand. The taste was not chocolate or poop, it was a mix between the two. I have never tasted poop before, but maybe this is what poop taste like. For the next 5 minutes I sat in my car crying while eating this mysterious material. I don't suggest going here, unless you like being treated like...
