I use to love this restaurant but on 02/28/25 my mom who has terminal cancer was finally feeling good so we went out for a nice dinner with her, me, my grown children and my grandchildren. The first bad experience was when the waiter put my tall glass of water in front of my 4 year old granddaughter 3 seats down from me. Of course she thinks it's hers and picks it up but spills the whole cup because it was too heavy it spilled all over the table and in the salsa. Waiter did nothing to help just walked away and never came back I had to chase him down every time we needed anything cause he literally never came back. Next thing that happened was same waiter put my daughters margarita right in front of same granddaughter like not even close to my daughter. She had to reach around her and grab it from her. Then when we get our food literally 2 hours after we get there people catty corner behind us kept telling my daughter to stay off of dope all because she has no teeth due to medical reasons not drugs. My oldest daughter asked them politely to stop that we are trying to enjoy a nice dinner. They then proceeded to threaten her and tell her to meet them outside to which we ignored. Then we got kicked out of the restaurant for politely asking them to stop and was told we were creating problems. When I asked to speak to the manager it happened to be our waiter so ever since then I have been calling to try to get whoever is above his head and said manager would just hang up on me. Called today and I asked for the name of the owner and said manager again had answered the phone when I called and when I said no need to know how to get ahold of the owner he said he is also the owner. I don't believe that he is a waiter,...
Read moreAt 7:15pm on December 21, 2023, my husband and I had a most disappointing experience at this restaurant. Until tonight, we have loved coming here to eat. There were two gentlemen ahead of us waiting to be seated. Behind us came thirteen rude people, both adults and children, who pushed their way inside to get ahead of those of us patiently waiting. The male host came out and unfortunately did not ask who was first. He just went with the closest person. The rude adults of the party of thirteen quickly responded to the male host. I spoke up that we were all there first. The gutless male, with zero integrity, sheepishly stated oh yeah they were here first. The adult woman rudely responded to the host, knowing they were not first. She's more important than anyone else, or so she thinks. My husband and I are sick of rude people who teach their children poor manners. What a shame. The staff of Cilantro's needs to remember a wonderful American custom of First come, First served. We left and went elsewhere to eat our dinner. Will we be back? Doubtful! My husband will not tolerate...
Read moreHave been there numerous times over the years but the last year, service & food quality have taken a nose dive. Tonight was our first time back in over 9 months. The last time we went, we said never again, but decided to give it a chance tonight. Our waiter has been there for years & we always cringe when we get him because he's not nice . Our chips were a dark brown & tasted burnt, we told him they tasted burnt & asked for others. He said the cook burnt all of them, all the chips were the same but he'd being us a new basket. Our margaritas were green/brown in color & tasted like a very cheap pre-made margarita mix. Food was just, eah. I think at that point we were just done. Never going back. If you're looking for good Mexican food Thurs-Saturday in Brazil for evening meals, go to Freddy's. We always do but he happened to be closed tonight & we didn't realize it until we were there. Taco Bell would have been better...
