So I have been eating here for years and always recommend it ; however the last two times I don’t know what’s going on over there ..I ordered from Door Dash about a month ago chicken tacos for pick up and I get home and they are beef and then today I called in order in and ordered three orders of chicken tacos so a total of eight and I get there and they’re all beef and when placing the order I repeated myself and he repeated it back to me obviously they’re not transposing the orders correctly but they’re also costing the restaurant money with incorrect orders like this. I also ordered an enchilada with green sauce and it was so unsavory with the rubbery grilled chicken and the thick heavy sauce I couldn’t eat it I mentioned to the gentleman that took my order that this happened two times in a row not to mention last time I didn’t want to drive all the way back and exchange beef for chicken and today I had to sit there and wait another 30 minutes for them to prepare the correct order I shared my dismay .. I asked could he at least comp me the Aqua Fresca for $5 He said” no “ but they would give me free chips and salsa which I did not think was a fair consolation prize but obviously was not going to turn it down even though the original order from a month ago should’ve been offered to me ?! When I got home chips and salsa wasn’t even in the bag ! Read moreI have been attending Chapala for the past 10 years and have enjoyed wonderful kind customer service from the waitresses and waiters with no problems. But something has changed for the worse. I think they may have gotten all new staff I have only male waiters. The past two visits the waiter was kind and service was excellent. But yesterday I went with my family for a late lunch and I don't know why but the waiter who was a bit overweight and glared at me and gave me dirty looks and took my order last well let every other restaurant I am asked for my order after my mother and before my sister and my dad goes last. When he took my order he was snotting and looked at me like I was a rotten person and I am not ugly or frightening to look at. I am a very kind person who has been bullied many times. Finally when I asked if he could and peppers to my quesadilla he shamed me and looked at me and talked as if I was placing the most outrageous order. No one ever send it was a problem before over the past 10 years and I truly miss the female waitresses you were always very kind and friendly 2 me. One time I called regarding an order and waited for hours for someone to return to the phone, or subsequently answer calls. It was for a party which wasn't that easy to just cancel and go somewhere else. Orders placed online give you a time frame. So, you plan around that time, but it's always done either much earlier (like an hour earlier) or much later. Canceling an online order is near impossible. You call the number provided, they tell you to cancel online, which is nit possible. The site gives you the same number to call. Then, they tell you tgat they have to call Door Dash to cancel your online pick-up order, leaving you with no idea whether or not you'll actually be refunded for your...
