Food is fresh, but service is a -10 most of the time. Today, the girl told me to go make my sandwich at home if I don't like how she does it. She first argued when I asked for lite mayo and mustard and she put a little down the fold of the sandwich, that "it will spread out". I didn't argue. Then, I asked her to replace a rotten little tomato end piece and she got irritated. Then, I told her, look, I didn't complain on the last sandwich you made sloppy, too fast, and didn't get oil and vinegar past the halfway point, but you need to do a better job. Her answer was, "This is fast food! Sorry you are in a bad mood." Not sure why I kept talking, but I reminded her that it was her job to make the sandwich how I wanted it. She did not agree and kept running her mouth. Then, as she rang me up, she had to ask me what the other sandwich had been, the genius had forgot. She is the second person in 2 months that works there who is an ass. My kids worked at Subway...they have standards...this Subway hires immature, rude jerks to make sandwiches. She said, "I have to deal with people like you every day." I deal with 150 teenagers a day but they have character, intelligence and respect. Read moreCame here for a second time in about 2 weeks and had a somewhat bad experience this time around. I've never had a sandwich with such a small portion of meat. My two kids sandwiches had about as much meat as mine. Completely different experience than our first time. I think you need to train your employees to be consistent. There was no meat on my $8 sandwich. As much as I hate subway even they put more meat and that's not saying much. Please train staff to be consistent. We came back because we were impressed the first time around. Nice girl but she did not know what she was doing. I enclosed photos of my very skimpy sandwich. Very disappointing. I brought rating up to a 3 because i appreciate the owner for acknowledging and making an effort to provide consistency with his products. We will be back...
Read moreTo the new owners - how is the lady that's working there every day not a manager? She absolutely single handedly carries this store like she owns it. The way she interacts and trains the other employees, the way she remembers regular customers and interacts with them, the way she manages a line during a busy time, covers all the promotions, her friendliness, and her sandwich making skills are second to none. There's not much I can say other than you guys owe her BIG TIME.
I was eating lunch and I forgot I had some work to take care of. She let me have a pen and seated me so I can work. She always is positive and one time I came in, she was all alone and just finished a huge catering order all by herself when the store was opening.
