Willy's Bagels & Blends — Restaurant in Brentwood

Cute bagel shop with lots of variety of bagels. Bagels are delicious. I ordered the BLT with avocado and it is yummy. Unfortunately and even though they have a bathroom as you would expect at a bagel shop with that serves breakfast and lunches... And has about 10 tables, they did not let me use the restroom 😳 👎 I wanted to wash my hands before I enjoy my bagel sandwich 😅 The bathroom had a "out of order" sign so I thought "that's unfortunate" until I saw a girl walked in and out of it. I asked the cashier and she told me that it is "for employees only". Proceeded to tell me that they have had too many issues of clogging and had to pay lots of money to fix it so they decided it is "for employees only" and "I'm sorry about that" wow!! I don't blame her since I guess she is following orders from above. But whoever owns or runs this joint needs to get a handle on that! Do not deny a restroom to your customers 🙏 Even though the bagel is really good, I will not be coming back at least until they do provide a restroom. Out...

As someone who is a serious chocolaholic, I'm always on the lookout for the best chocolate drinks or desserts. I think Starbuck's Mocha Frapp is pretty good, esp. if you request an additional pump (or half pump) of mocha (chocolate) And Peet's has a Mocha Javiva which can be good and isn't too coffee-strong. But then I discovered Willy's Mocha Mania. It's a sensational smoothie that uses nonfat yogurt (that I can't taste), chocolate, coffee and whatever secret ingredients it has. The manager told me that it's been around for 20 years. No surprise. I also like Willy's version of a Creamsicle (orange/vanilla smoothie) but for chocolaholics the Mocha Mania is IT.
