We wanted some good real ice cream, but there was nothing near us. Looking online, we found Cold Wave and called to ensure they were open. No one answered so just left a message. Shortly the wife of the owners called me back and let me know they were open but just very busy. Such a nice lady! So we rode our motorcycle from Dallas to Cold Wave for cone. The roads were hot, but by the first bite of my cone all the troubles melted away. Real ice cream. No preservatives. Just great flavor and memories. I did sample the adult rumchata (so tempting but ended up with another non-alcoholic choice). We definitely will be back to this place next time we are in town!
