I ordered the fried wontons as my appetizer and chicken pad rama for my entrée. Both were amazing, especially the pad rama which was bursting with flavor and the right amount of heat. Based on the taste, I recommend this restaurant highly. So yummy. I'll be back. I'd give it 5 stars, but the restaurant itself lacks ambiance. If you are looking for a place to dress up for a date, this is not it.

This is the cutest little Thai restaurant! I lived in Thailand myself for a few years & found the food at this restaurant to be very authentic. Great service & very nicely decorated with Thai decor. 100% recommended!

Ordered from Uber eats and paid 66$ for two entrees and a salad. The portions are tiny. Literally paid 15$ for the picture of broccoli I am posting.

Positively phenomenal. It's a gem of a little thai restaurant that doesn't get nearly the credit it deserves. I hadn't been in in longer than it should have been, but took my girlfriend last night. I'd only taken her for thai once prior, take out from a random spot in New Haven -- and it was gross.

Fingers crossed, I had a hankering for thai and set off for old trusty. I remember it being small but very welcoming, and it was as I recalled, but the decor seems it's been updated. Everything was fresh and extremely clean, and smelled phenomenal.

I had the thai green curry (chicken), she had the pad se ew (beef), and both were absolutely delightful. One thing I did recall is that the portions were not gut busting, but just very reasonable. I don't find this to be a flaw. Plates shouldn't make you sick if you happen to finish them, and having left overs need not be the norm ... order an extra meal if you'd like more to go!

Anyway, I will be frequenting King and I -- It's back in my rotation. The food was on point, better so than (I remember) the Fairfield location's being (which I lived near a for a few years around 2009 [though this review is neither about nor to a knock on the Fairfield King & I]).

Anyway, don't hesitate to go. This isn't NYC, and we don't have the kind of variety here that they have (and I'm spoiled from working a few years in the city). But the food is as good as any I'd had in New York, and I cannot wait to go back. I'm still gloating thinking about last nights dinner!

Thank you very much to the kind gentleman who took care of us, as well! See...

I can't even believe I gave this place one star first off the little waiter / owner was a prick treated me like I was begging for something when I was coming in to pick up my $30 order told me to hold on when I was asking him for something the service is not the only problem the food was disgusting and super tiny portions like the other reviews said wish I read them before I wasted my money avoid this place at all costs the pad thai cost 1350 it was in a small container it was only half way full unbelievable now you know why they put the staple on the bag so you don't look till you get home the food was atrocious the noodles were all dry like they were left out in the air it tasted old and microwaved if I ever see that little dude again so help me God and you know what there was only three tiny thin slice little pieces of chicken in the whole little dish I would recommend going home microwaving a ramen noodle removing the broth take one chicken nugget cut it into 3 take a cheap package of hot sauce dump it in that's what 1350 taste like at this dump soooooooo mad I have to go back out and get something to eat...

We ordered a large order for lunch at work. One girl only had her credit card we asked over the phone to have her order separate. When I got there. The lady was frazeled. I guess the cooks or whomever didn't label the food so she had to repack it all and label it. She did not separate the one order from the rest so I had to pay for all of it on my card and later deposit everyone's cash and my coworker had to owe me. The food is ok the rice could be better. And it would be nice if it wasn't just one women running the tables...
