The service was okay initially, then our waitress disappeared for a while before we ordered. She told us to put our menus on top of each other when we were ready to order. Which we did. We were the only people in the room at the time and we didn't see our waitress (or anyone else) for a while after that.

The food was decent. I got one of their many pizzas and Dad got their meatball calzone. My pizza wasn't great, but it was good. Was my pizza worth the $16 Dad paid for it? Not even remotely. The pizza at Blaze is better, faster, and just a tad over half the price for lots more toppings. I'm not against paying more for better food and service, but if you're not getting better food or service, I see no reason to bother.

I hadn't checked out the menu before dining there and was surprised that it's a pizza place. Since pizza wasn't invented by the Italians, it was surprising given the name even though one of the pictures scrolling on their website is of dough. I'd never seen warm bread with dipping sauce on a menu before. That was different.

Normally with BYOB, you are given glasses, they open the wine bottle, etc. and charge for that. The waitress did not touch either of our drinks other than to remove the bottle & can after we drank them and did not offer a frosted (or any other) glass for us to drink. However, there was a $6 charge on the bill.

The fine print of their website tells you that they're BYOB, though the first picture on their website when I went to it was all wine bottles, which implies that one could order wine. It's not like you're going to bring in a dozen wines to choose from if you're bringing your own. I included the picture of the wine bottles on their website (misleading) and a clip of exactly what it says about their BYOB policy - no fee is mentioned. We didn't see it on the menu either, but after the shocking bill, the waitress found it on the menu (after a while of looking and she works there) - it's listed in very fine print at the bottom of the menu after some info about how they add a huge tip for parties over a certain size and if you don't sign your tab (which is crazy, since a signature is only needed for those who contest the bill). The fee for BYOB is $5 per bottle of wine and $3 per beer can or other bottle (it only mentions beer, but clearly they charged for my drink even though it...

Have been a neighbor to thos place when it was Brunie's market. We tried it the first 2 weeks of them being open many years ago and thought they had some growing pains. I've seen all the cars packed in for years and thought id give it a second shot. I ordered beans and greens(with sausage) and a pizza. $52 dollars later..... The online order said it would be about 50 minutes and that they would text when it was ready. 50 minutes (at 5:15 on a Sunday order time), i never heard from them, so I drove the 2 minutes down. I had to wait 3-4 minutes before anyone even noticed me. Had an very Pittsburgh Italian family walking back into the kitchen getting "you need more sauce".... shit happen before I even got noticed....... Finally got my beans and greens and pizza and drove my 2 minutes home. So it was still hot.... I really wanted to like it, but it didn't happen. The greens where so stringy.... We couldn't eat them all. The pizza was good, but definitely not crispy at all. The flavor or the crust was good. The size of the pizza was like most places medium to small. I personally hate the new ownership at Burgs, but they make a much better pizza in my opinion from my experience. I really hope it was just an off night, but the dude walking back in the kitchen and getting more sauce for his table was the most guido shit ever......... Maybe he was the owner. It was a pretty piss poor experience. I really want to like...

This place was beautiful! It was in a peaceful residential area with a small parking lot. We entered and soon enough a waitress came to take our order! She was kind and took our drink and appetizer orders. The only downside is that we ordered two breads with dip, and it took about 15-20 for the appetizers to come out. Though it was a Friday evening, the bread should not have taken that long. It was fresh, hot and the olive oil-balsamic dressing dip was good. We also ordered the Sylvetta salad and it was delicious; it had arugula, balsamic, goat cheese, dried cranberries, and pecans. All the entrees took about 20 minutes to come out which was pretty quick. The penne alla vodka was cooked al dente and it came with three pieces of bread and grated Parmesan! It was tasty for this place being a pizza restaurant. The Bambino pizza and Anna pizza were amazing! The first one was cheesy, the sauce wasn’t too sweet, and the crust was crispy. The basil was fresh. However, we wished the crust was a little bit thicker because the center got soggy within minutes of being brought out which led to an unpleasant first bite. The pizza Anna was fresh and the ingredients paired together perfectly! To round off the meal we ordered two tiramisus. They were fluffy, creamy, and had a prevalent coffee flavor which paired perfectly with the rest of the ingredients. Overall would rate this place 8.5/10 and...

This is a place that specializes in pizza. They also have some interesting salads and are known for their meatball appetizer. A few pasta dishes and other Italian-style appetizers round out the menu, and they are BYOB with a $5 corkage fee per bottle (very reasonable). We were there as a large group and got to try a variety of items. They were all tasty. The Calzones are very large for a single person, so should be shared. Same goes for their pizzas. The names are unique to this place so you really need to look at the ingredient lists to decide on what to order. We found this to be true for both the salads and the pizzas / calzones. Service was very nice and attentive. Kitchen was quick, but then again, it was not a busy night. Everything we tried was really good. About the only negative thing we encountered was the parking. There is a lot in front of the building and it was FULL. This place is in a residential area and several of our party had to go down the street to find parking. What we found puzzling was that we were the last customers to leave that night, and the parking lot was still three-quarters full. It could not have been the staff as there were more cars there than staff members, so not sure who parks there, but it was certainly inconvenient for us .... especially as it happened to be a really cold night!

We ordered two pasta dishes (no meat) and a Margarita pizza and the bill was $70. I don’t have a problem paying that if I actually receive a decent amount of food. However, our pasta came in very small containers and one of them wasn’t even full (as seen in attached photo) The food was delicious but the portions were beyond ridiculously small, especially considering the price. I wonder if we ate there if portions would have been so skimpy?

Great romantic spot with a nice atmosphere. But, due to limited space - it can get loud and crowded.
