My hand got burnt at 8am on Saturday, June. 8th from picking up hot coffee on the counter next to the cash register. The cashier with long brunette hair braided two ways placed the hot coffee on the counter. I picked it up and the lid popped off spilling hot coffee all over my left hand and onto the counter. The customers around me handed me napkins and asked me if I was all okay. My left hand was burnt and all red. The cashier with the braids said she was sorry. She did not ask if I was okay. The other cashier with the backwards baseball cap saw the injury and went about her business without saying one word. I left and purchased emergency burn pads with lidocaine, gauze, and tape from Walgreens totaling $28.33 I called my husband and he called the store. They didn't pick up. He then called the Somerset location and left his name/number. I drove back to the store around 11am. As soon as I entered, the cashier with the backwards baseball cap started making a call presumably to the manager or owner. I was in front of her the whole time with my left hand covered in gauze holding the Walgreens receipt. I could hear her talking over the phone telling whoever was on the phone, "She's holding a Walgreens receipt". After she hung, she handed me a notepad/pen and told me to write my name/number. When I asked if she wanted the Walgreens receipt, she said "no". She said the manager, Hassan, would call me. My husband has called both Somerset and BW locations again. The employee said manager is not in. My husband left his name/number for the second time.
No one called me and it's been 12 days since my injury. This is to the manager, Hassan. Imagine hot coffee spilling on your daughter, wife, or mom. Imagine the employee not asking if they were okay? How would you feel? Do you not have empathy towards people who get injured at your store because of employee incompetence? You have my name and number. You have my husband's name and number. My husband called four times to both your stores....
Read moreI do miss the bagels from the old Coffee Grinder but with that being said, Kettleman’s has very good bagels at an okay price. I just wish Kettleman’s bagels had a bit more flavor, it’s almost like they’re missing an ingredient or something. But they are way better than a grocery store bagel, and worth the difference in price.
I got a porkroll egg and cheese on an everything bagel with salt pepper and ketchup. My mom also got a porkroll egg and cheese, and we also ordered 6 bagels on the side. All together the total came to $23. It is a bit pricy but that’s what you’re going to pay for the quality.
Even after driving 25 minutes back home, our sandwiches were still nice and warm when we ate them. As I said before the bagels and sandwich all together seemed a little lacking in flavor and didn’t “hit the spot” as much as we’d expected but they were still very good and we’ll be...
Read moreI came home from college this weekend and was craving a traditional jersey style bagel. I was able to order the bagel with bacon, egg and cheese and hot honey which was incredible the honey added a nice touch to the bagel. I will definitely be back here as it was a delightful bagel eating experiences one thing that I think what can be improved is that it could use little more honey as the taste is a little too subtle. the bagel is slightly above average. at the price of eight dollars and some change I think this is a very good deal compared to the other local bagel shops in the area. The customer service here was terrific. The atmosphere and interior design is very modern and clean. It is refreshing to see a new bagel shop in this Bradley...
