We stopped by Kool Cow with our kids and family—and absolutely loved it! The variety of homemade hard ice cream flavors was fantastic. From classics like Cookies & Cream to fun choices like Purple Cow and Coconut Custard, everyone found something they loved. The kids especially enjoyed picking out their favorites, and the staff was friendly and patient throughout.

The place has a cozy, nostalgic vibe and the flavor board alone gets you excited! We really appreciated how fresh and rich the ice cream tasted—definitely not your average scoop. It was the perfect treat on a warm day, and the whole family left smiling.

Bad experience — never again

We stopped by to get ice cream for my daughters, but it was a disaster. Right after we bought it, it started melting so fast that we had to throw half of it away before even eating. Then the second half started melting too and made a huge mess in the car. My daughters were crying and upset because their ice cream was melting before they could enjoy it. This completely ruined what was supposed to be a nice treat. One of the worst experiences I’ve had at an ice cream shop. I won’t stop here...

If you're in Montrose, PA and need a homemade peanut butter fudge sundae ASAP I cannot recommend this place enough! Many varieties of flavors and serving options. I believe they even have their food truck in back just in case you forgot dinner.
