Pho Today Bridgewater — Restaurant in Bridgewater Township

My experience here was absolutely horrible... DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU ARE BLACK. I came in asked for a table of one. I am tbe only black person in the restaurant...just for record tbe time was around 1:30pm I sat down less than 2 mins later a waitress asked me if I was ready to order. No hello, no my name is...just straight what do I want. I said may I have some time it's my 1st time here. She walked away less than 2 mins later another waitress asked if I was ready to order...I again so no. The 1st waitress came back... I said to myself let order something so they can leave me alone. I ordered an appetizer but apparently that wasn't enough...the 2nd waitress comes and says are you ready to order. I said I just did...she leaves. The 1st waitress comes back with my spring rolls...less than a minute later the 2nd waitress comes and say are just going order appetizers. I said is there something wrong or is it problem to order just appetizers. She said no...in my head I'm like why ask me that if it's not a problem. I told her no I will be ordering a main dish she walks a way. Keep in mind there was a white man across from me everyone else was Asian...not once did any waitress or waiter go to their tables just mine. In face the whote man had to call a waitress over to place his order because they were so worried about me. I'm now uncomfortable and decided I am going to leave. Please note I spoke with the manager that seemed very unbothered. Lastly while my appetizer sat on my plate a nets were flying around and landed on my food. Horrible...

Ordered to go. As I waited for my lemonade to be prepared I could see into prepping area. So I am watching server make my drink. She pauses because she runs out of limes and needs to wait for limes to come out of kitchen. As she waits she decides to pull garbage bag out of garbage can. It’s stuck, so has to put her hands in garbage can to pull bag out. Oh wait, Limes just come out of kitchen now so she leaves garbage (to manager I think) to complete my lemonade. Hands never being washed. When I ask her to please stop and wash her hands, she becomes rude and annoyed. She then went to sink and rinsed her hands with water, no soap mind you. At that point I asked for them to refund me for the lemonade, because I obviously did not want it. She smugly gave me refund with no apology and no acknowledgment of her error. I’m pretty positive it was the manager watching this whole thing play out and never stepping in. Pretty good insight to how things must be handled on a daily basis. Never mind the kitchen, where there is...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this lovely Vietnamese restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience!

I ordered the PHO #2, which came with rare steak, brisket, and beef balls. The broth was rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of sweetness and spice. The beef was tender and cooked to perfection, and the beef balls added a nice texture to the dish.

But what truly made my experience stand out was the exceptional service provided by Carlos. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my meal.

The restaurant itself is a hidden gem - a nice and calm location that's perfect for a relaxing meal. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, with comfortable seating and soft music playing in the background.

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Vietnamese cuisine and top-notch service. Be sure to ask for Carlos, and don't forget to try the PHO #2!
