Really enjoyed the food. The atmosphere was nothing special. Typical strip mall tiny dining area, maybe 9 tables total, but very clean and neat. White linen tablclothes with red linen napkins. The service was very abrupt and quick but I think that is more of a desire to show their efficiency and attentiveness. Now for the food. My wife stated with shrimp egg rolls that were thin, crispy, not greasy, and chocked with shrimp. 4 or 5 of the large shrimp per roll, not the tiny shrimp you get at most places. My friend got the shrimp filled shumai and the were delicious. Steamed perfectly. They were small but there were about a dozen in the steamer. The dipping sauce was delicious as well. My appetizer was called shredded crispy duck and it reminded me of bacon. Shredded pieces of duck with skin and all fried crispy over top fresh salad greens. Very tasty. On to the entrees. My wife had the wok glazed ginger and shrimp over fresh veggies in a light sauce. The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. She said it was excellent. My friend had the shrimp and oyster sauce. He too said it was very good. I had the Thai peppercorn shrimp with veggies and a somewhat sweet garlicky sauce. Very tasty but spicy, that's ok I like spicy food. All in all a very pleasant meal with excellent food and moderately priced. I will be going back for sure to try some of the seafood dishes with fresh...
Read moreWent here for the first time last week. Relatively expensive and the food was disappointing. The pork egg rolls tasted like vegetable egg rolls with very little flavor. The portions seem small for the price. Kung pao chicken was disastrous. It came out more like a stew, extremely watery. The general Tso's chicken was the most disappointing. Most of the chunks we had was clumps of cornstarch rather than chicken. If I had to guess I'd say they used bits of thigh rather than large white meat chunks. I don't mind if I but when it's that small you just end up with huge pieces of fried starch rather than meat.
I think the only thing we didn't have much of an issue with was the fried rice. It was nothing special but it wasn't bad either.
It also took quite a bit of time to pick up the food. Using their website/deliverynow service was difficult and the text messages told us to be at the restaurant at a certain time to pick up. Ended up having to wait an extra 15 minutes at the restaurant which was a bit annoying with the...
Read moreGood Staff on the phone. Clean food..which is #1.
Positive: They give you a nice portion. Mongolian Stirfry is always good. Has a good amount of sauce/juices and veggies to enjoy with rice. I love the brown rice there.
Noodles are good. Beef and Chicken amounts are just perfect along the veggies. Veggies are crisp and not mushy--thats very important.
Packaging is excellent.
Pricing is fair for the amount they give you.
Opportunity: The Thai Shrimp fried rice was very mushy. We picked it up 5 mins after it came out so didn't sit too long. But still mushy. Reduce the Tomato pieces in that stir fry dish and fry the rice some more.. it'll be great. Trust me.
Overall, its the place you want to pick up from when you are in the mood for Asian Cuisine.
I'll keep the viewers and the owners updated via more reviews on my next pick up.
Keep a Clean and Happy kitchen!
Thank you House...
