It's lovely when you have an issue and get the owner of the business on the phone to speak to them only to have them interrupt you 3 times when you try to explain the issue and then they hang up on you. Wish I could leave a negative star review.
Owner swears it's because he has "a loud and raspy voice" but doesn't seem to realize that starting to speak when someone is about 5 words into a sentence is the issue, NOT the voice.
Will NEVER eat here again.
Will DEFINITELY recommend anyone who likes having actual customer service stay far away.
To be clear: The food is good enough (not as good as the one in Rutland, but good enough considering that it saves the drive). Nobody cares what kind of voice someone has on the phone (it's not like they can change their voice, and they probably don't like yours either). When you attempt to explain what your policies are when that is not the issue, and the person on the phone is rude enough to speak while you're interrupting RATHER than LISTENING to what the issue actually is so a resolution can be reached, then you are the issue, NOT your customer.
In case anyone's wondering what the issue was: We know that when we call to place an order and don't want to give our card number over the phone, we need to ask specifically for Andy so that he can override that policy and allow the order to be placed and we can pay when we pick up the pizza. This is what Andy told us to do, and we haven't had a problem for the last two years. We ordered pizza, the cashier asked for a card number, and we asked for Andy so he could override the policy. He got on the phone, heard that we needed him to override the policy, and he asked if the cashier was rude. No, the cashier wasn't rude. We just need you to override your policy like you have been doing for the last two years, but you can't do that for us because you're too busy explaining that a lot of people have accused her of being rude because she is following your policy and that a lot of people have accused you of being rude because you have a loud and raspy voice, and that you didn't really have the time for this s* (Andy's words on the phone, I'm not paraphrasing) and that we should probably find another place to eat. Andy then hung up on us.
If you want an awesome place to eat, I'd suggest the Bridgewater Diner, less than a mile down the road. They don't have pizza, but they have people who actually know how to treat...
Read moreDisclaimer: This has 1 star, only because I couldn't rate it anything less than that. Upon my visit the rude waitress with a really cute mustache nose piercing greeted our table in a rude fashion. She brought an incorrect amount of menus, then proceeded to be extremely rude when asked for a few more. She didn't bring water until the 5th time we asked, and then when she did, didn't even bring cups to drink out of. When she brought the cups, she heeded us a very offensive warning not to steal fountain soda with these cups as "this is a business and we make money from your service". It took about 45 minutes to get a singular calzone, and the calzone wasn't even good. Mind you, when the calzone was brought to the table she didn't even bring it on a plate. she brought this thing to us on a pizza platter. It still gets worse though. She brought it and placed it on a metal stand directly behind us in the middle of everyone's path, and she left it there even after we had removed our pizza platter. After eating, in order for my friend to get up he had to literally move this thing farther into the walkway, and as he was doing this our LOVELY waitress busted around the corner in a pink bedazzled tiara (by this point she'd changed her nose ring to a bull hoop), and started to SCREAM AT THE TOP OF HER LUNGS AT HIM. "IN WHAT WORLD IS IT ALRIGHT FOR YOU TO PLACE THAT WHERE OTHERS WALK?", were her exact words. Next another customer came by and started to move the stand away, which was humiliating because it made us feel like we were in the wrong, when it was all the waitresses' fault. Then the waitress made a rude comment regarding "the customer's manners" and how some people just "don't have common courtesy". Of course we have common courtesy and respect, but not for someone that's being utterly rude. At the end we were the last ones to receive a check. which we had to ask a different waitress for (shoutout to you because you know how to treat customers). Overall, this experience was anything but pleasant and i recommend you stay far from it if you don't want to...

“OMG!”
“My name is Andy, but thanks.”
The exchange right there sums it up.
Three of us were very hungry after hiking Dear Leap Mountain and nothing beats a good hike than an IPA, wings and pizza/calzone.
Otter Creek Free Flow IPA on draught. A very smooth, easy to drink beer.
The family split an order of maple BBQ wings. Wow! What a unique, sweet, zippy, smoky combination. Awesome. Highly recommended.
My 17 year old son and I split a meat lovers calzone and still had a 1/3d left to take home afterwards.
My wife got a simple pepperoni gluten-free pizza. They admitted that the GF crust is not homemade. It was slightly undercooked in the middle. GF crust is very finicky crust to bake evenly. Get the middle perfect and you cardboard the edges. Practice will make perfect.
We caught Ramunto’s at the tail end of COVID restrictions and right before the summer season. They were apologetically understaffed but it was OK, we were in no rush. Until they, or any restaurant in transition during this period, are back up to full speed, it is best to pack some patience when visiting. Everyone is struggling find, hire, and retain good staff. It’s hard to compete with pandemic enhanced...
