Christy's Donut & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Brisbane

I stopped by to check out this place because I was craving a donut. BIG MISTAKE!! I ordered two donuts, mocha coffee, and a breakfast bagel. I paid for everything and noticed I was shorted a donut. When I asked where it was I got a blank look from the man we had been dealing with for the donuts. I said I still want it and they said it will be $2. Originally I paid with my debit card because I had no cash. I gave them my card to charge me for the donut. I was charged $2.58. I asked how we got from $2 to $2.58. The woman who was behind the counter said we have a $5 minimum for debit card purchases. I said it wasn't my fault that the guy who works there forgot to give me my donut. No one seemed to care

The food.....donuts blase at best. The coffee was a few sips more than a shot glass and nasty. Tasted like it was made with old dishwasher soap. The breakfast sandwich was not bad but with the nasty taste in my mouth I was not feeling like eating it.

This is my second time coming to this donut shop. The first time which was a few weeks ago, i bought a dozen donuts, the lady at the counter, took it upon herself to add donuts she felt like giving instead of what I chose. I didn’t have time to come back and voice my concern. Today I came in to purchase a few donuts again, giving the shop another shot. Unfortunately the same lady was there, with the worst attitude ever. I forgot my wallet came back in but there was a guy in line, I asked her if I should pay or wait in line, her response was “I don’t know! I am updating my review from before. They have a new owner. Hardly speaks English. Ordered banh mi and found it filled with onions. Yuck! Who puts onions in their banh mi? I know traditionally, onions are not found in these sandwiches. The quality of their banh mi has gone down the drain since new ownership. The drinks are overpriced. When I asked about the $0.99 cents Arizona, he was rude! The place is a dive and is dirty. They also charge you for using a card or Apple Pay. Make sure you pay cash. Would not recommend as their donuts are old as well. They up charge everything. Be diligent when...
