La Corona is our new favorite Mexican in Blountville. Just FYI, they are closed on Mondays, just like most of the other sit-down restaurants in Blountville. The food and service are great. Love the Salsa. You get your fill as the portions are huge and great for how much they charge you. Yum!!!!!!!

Went back for lunch today so I thought I'd better add some photos. I still think this is one of the best places for authentic Mexican food in the area. Service is always good and lunch is a great value! Great food!! Please give me a "like" if my review helped.

Super small Mexican restaurant. The food was alright and the service was as well. I honestly expected more pizzazz or something. It fit the general connotation of life in Mexico for an Amerixican.

We have been going to La Corona for years usually at least once a week or more. Service and food are usually very good but tonight was a different story. They have a new waitress who has been there a few months. The first time we had her we thought she was just new so we didn't expect the same level.of service we usually get which is always very good. But here we are several minths down the road and she is no better than the first day. Our table was not clean, we had to ask her to wipe it again, we ordered and waited approximately 30 minutes for our food which is a long wait for that restaurant. What we ordered was not out of the ordinary so why the wait...when my food came it was cold so cold the cheese was congealed. My husbands food was warm, I had taken a bite of the food and we told her it was cold she took it back and came back with the same plate with warm cheese on top. When we were leaving she was bringing drinks to another table and almost ran us over. She is very rude all the time when we have her. I think she does not go check to see if her orders are ready for the table that is why I got cold food. I will request another server next time or will leave before I have to sit thru another meal with this rude server, who has not improved from day 1. This never happens with any of the other servers they always go out of their way to speak with us whether they are waiting on us or not. Don't let one bad server ruin...

Food is good for this area, mainly because they use some spice's to bring out flavor. They can be a little heavy on salt, possible using galic salt not sure. However fish tacos, should be and are best served in white corn tortillas. If nothing else it helps to keep from being soggy when ordered to go.i believe just a couple small changes in spice's, packaging and use of tortillas would / could make this place a hot spot.again I come from Texas (Houston) very eclective texmex . lastly when I came in I ordered a beer while I looked over the menu, which was nice. Food came out fast for my to go order. But the sour taste left in my mouth was the older lady as the cashier that asked me if I wanted my change back. My TO GO BILL was only$12 dollars I paid with a $20 after tipping my waitress $3. For me asking for a tip is unprofessional. I do believe I will go back at some point. But I do recommend being a...

Called in order. Said I have THREE SEPARATE ORDERS! The man took first order and placed me on hold for 12 minutes! I get there and said I have more things to order! First they said I had an old menu. I got this menu when we were last here in JUNE! Okay fine again I said I have three separate orders. They take the orders. I wait for the food. Later on they bring the food out all in the same bag. I said I need separate bags. The man says I never told him. Separate orders means they need to be separated. That is implied when one says separate orders! Then when he rings up the items, the total is for ALL of the items! Again I said separate orders! This means separate payment. Separate totals.

This is crazy and it shouldn't be that difficult to place an order! I don't know why the concept of "separate" is so hard to grasp. I don't have time for this level of foolishness!...
