Stockman's Club — Restaurant in Broadus

Place was probably half full at 7:45pm on Friday when I stopped in. A waitress took my drink order after I sat down, I ordered plain old water. Several minutes later the second waitress stopped by and asked what I'll be drinking and I told her I'd asked for water but I'd also like a lemonade, 10 minutes in I finally got my drinks. Meanwhile the other waitress was busy entertaining a locals baby. I ordered a prime rib medium rare with mashed potatoes. The food arrived in timely fashion and looked good, however the meat was overdone with almost no pink, almost flavorless with quite a bit of tough in it. The mashed potatoes weren't bad. The waitress never bothered to check up on me or refill my drink. She slapped the bill on my table without asking how me meal was.

I went outside and wrote a negative review on their Facebook page to which they responded by telling me I'd parked stupid like I was the only one on the place and they watched me eat almost the entire meal somehow missing my empty glass. Locals are served but apparently not out of town guest. Can't give a review on food, was never served, even after waiting 17 minutes. I had been waiting approximately 4-5 minutes when the bartender came to the bar till, made eye contact with me and then cashed out a customer and was gone. I waited and waited and waited longer until a local couple walked in and sat down. Within moments the bartender recognized them, told them she would get menus and off she scurried. At the bar she made eye contact with me a second time, grabbed 2 menus and went to serve the newly seated couple. That is when I decided I best leave.not sure how much longer I would need to wait before being served if I would at all!?! My wife came in before me & wasn’t greeted & the waitress just looked at her & walked away. She then went into the bar & no one was around & she had to hunt someone down for service. The waitress didn’t know they.served pizza. The staff wasn’t very friendly. The last time we were there the owners were very friendly, but the staff are not. Later When it looked liked the bar tender was going to close I asked her if she was closing & she said she was trying to. I replied it’s only 11and it’s Saturday night. She then mentioned another bar in town It’s Open you can go there. So we weren’t very happy with the service.
