Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Brockton

Usually I have a great experience here. But, unfortunately tonight I did not. My sister had a coupon which was a buy one blizzard get another one for 99 cents. She bought me a different blizzard because this store didn’t have the right ingredients for the one that I wanted. I didn’t like the blizzard my sister had bought, so instead I went back up and asked for a vanilla with cherry dip instead. The employee denied me of getting another ice cream by saying that she couldn’t do that because my sister had used the coupon- so I then said I would pay the difference and the employee proceeded by saying she couldn’t because the coupon was specifically for blizzards only. I then followed by saying “could you give me a list of the blizzards because I genuinely don’t like this specific blizzard”. She followed by saying that I couldn’t because I already had bought this one. I had then said that I would pay her the difference and she again said I couldn’t because my sister already paid for it. I’m somebody who believes in customer service. I wasn’t asking for TWO blizzards, I was going to give the blizzard I had back because I was dissatisfied with my original blizzard. However, I felt as though this employee wasn’t listening to anything I was saying and denied me buying another ice cream because my sister already bought one. I ordered 2 blizzards and a worker with pink hair makes my second blizzard. As i give her my card to pay she accidentally knocks over the ice cream and tries to scoop it up with her bare hands and give it to me. i politely ask her to remake it and as she’s remaking it she puts her fingers in the ice cream to prevent it from spilling as the mixer is putting it together. i take the ice cream and go to a different line to tell another worker and he goes to get the manager. the manager is rude and disrespectful saying he sees no fingerprints in the ice cream so i was lying. This is our second time for the season, and as always they delivered. My daughter loves ice cream!! She is picky about her ice cream, and this is one of her favorite places. They help make wonderful memories and sticky fingers!! The gentleman gave me a free chocolate milkshake instead of discarding a wrong order. I thought that was very thoughtful and kind. They were a little busy and they opened another window to help out. Great job!! I gave the milkshake to my son. I love to see them happy and enjoying each other. Reminds me of my southern ice...
