This was my first experience with Flex Jamaican Cuisine, as I set out to go to Jamaica’s Best, the former business at the same location. I ordered my usual medium oxtail dinner with peas and rice. I asked what the vegetable was that looked like kale greens and was told, “calaloo.” Since I had never tasted it before, the gentleman said he would put some in my container to taste. That was very nice of him because he was not charging me for it. However, I ordered a second meal for my daughter and she was disappointed that no vegetable comes with the $27.00 oxtail dinner. I agree with her that a vegetable should come with the meal—not as a separate side at a separate cost.
I will be checking out a few other Jamaican restaurants for a better value with hopefully a great taste.
I do hope that Flex Jamaican Cuisine considers adding a vegetable as part of the cost...

I only got salt fish, ackee, porridge & fried dumpling. all of that i give a 3 out of 5. i will return again to see if anything changes. But i do recommend this place for the hospitality...
