CHELO'S — Restaurant in Brodhead

Decided to try Chelo's Mexican restaurant in Brodhead, KY yesterday for the first time. Walking in it is a small space with a few tables and a line of booths which works for the setup they have. The service is some of the best I have seen in a long time at any restaurant I've been to in a long time. The food was really good and had some good flavor but with that said the price and portion is way off. I got a steak and chicken fajita which was half the size of anywhere else and the cost was way too high for what you got in your portion. The steak was almost paper thin and I wouldn't even call it a steak and the salas was watered down and had no spice to it. This is good for a stop in maybe once or twice a month but not a everyday eatery...

Best in the area. Worth the drive. Excellent taste. Very unique flavor. All was perfect except for the icecubes from the local city water. I had the two for $10 combo. Beef taco and chicken burrito.
