I was with a group of 20 on 5/14 @ 5:00pm. Anything good about this place was taken away by the cold air blowing on me!! I had on long jeans & a top with sleeves. I complained as my hair was blowing in my mouth & my napkin & wadded up straw paper was blowing off to the other side of the table into floor! ( not kidding) we were all cold, I asked to see mgr., she came over, I told her the problem, she said she turned it down a little and that was all she could do! I order a small plate from under 10 or over 60 menu. I had planned on a ribeye & margarita! No way was I gonna pay 40+ dollars & eat in misery! I put a plate on my 2nd napkin, & went to my car & got a large blanket we use for our large dog to lay on. Put it over my shoulders & went back in! The family of 4 behind us, asked if I had any more blankets in my car? My group cut it short, no one got the lemon desert they have! I usually add extra tip when places add tips, not this time. I realize it was not waitress fault! I didn’t finish my small plate, as my hair was blowing in my mouth as I ate! I will never go back to this place!! Ever!! So if you go there take a large coat or sweater, even if it’s 100 degrees out! One of our girls feet were bluish due to being cold!! It was horrible, girl next to me shared my blanket & took most of her meal home!! This was a miserable experience for what was supposed to be a pleasant evening for us!! None of us were dressed skimpy!! We go out every month somewhere!! Poor management & very unenjoyable evening!!! As to questions below, I planned spending 40+, but spent under 10. With tip! Rolls& mushrooms got cold immediately as did my ribs, & the 1- side, taboli ...

So the service was 100% the saving grace of this place. The hostess was terrific even letting my son feed the fish outside. Seated quickly, the service was top notch and quick. Their rolls are soft and the butter is awesome with a hint of honey in them. Next came the salad for me. It was actually in my opinion a 5. I had a ceaser and their dressing actually was a vinaigrette style Caesar which while interesting and I'd never had anything like it was perfect in my opinion although my party guest weren't as big of fans. Next came our steaks. While they weren't great they also weren't bad. Although when you ordered identical ribeyes and ones vastly larger that is weird. They were cooked a perfect medium so they nailed that. The outside edges of each end seemed seasoned well but outside of those bites they seemed plain bland. I had to ask for A1 which is for me a automatic thumbs down. The baked potato was great and good size. My wife had fries for the kids instead of the naked potato. They don't say seasoned fries but when they came out they were so covered in seasoning neither child would eat them. Our waitress to the rescue had us a fresh batch in less the 5 minutes with no house seasoning. My only other complaint would be they were probably all undercooked but that may be simply their style of serving. The rest of the party had ribs which said we're good but crazy fatty and brisket. Said it seemed more oven cooked then smoked but was decent. All in all the service saved it. But 2 from us. The environment is cool my son loved the animals on the walls and...

I met 7 other retired workers for our annual Christmas luncheon today at Some Mill and was extremely disappointed. I order two appetizers of breaded mushrooms for the group, and there were two orders of Onion Rings ordered. The mushrooms came out dark brown to black and smaller than any mushrooms I ever ordered. The onion rings were golden brown not black like the mushrooms. The mushrooms were over cooked in old oil to be as dark as they were. As they were served I heard one comment saying they were Hush Puppies because they were so dark and tasted terrible. I also ordered a dinner salad a BBQ sandwich and fires. One person was late so the order was held until he arrived.. I was served the salad and my lunch at the same time putting two dishes in front of me on an already over crowded table. It was awkward; and embarrassing to have two plates making me feel like I had over ordered. The salad could easily have been served ahead of the meal as it should have been, and then cleared before the meals were served. I was disappointed in the service and food and would not recommend this...

Update: pretty decent explanation by vendor, honestly had the silverware been there would have been fine it was seperate. I think they deserve 5 stars for the quality of the food. I have craved it since and ordered again. This had to be the most frustrating meal I've had in a long time, everything I ordered was SO delicious and this could of been a grand slam, but I was beyond frustrated that I received a DIY baked potato kit instead of what was pictured and described. Like, after spending 50$, on dinner for two, ~11.50 for the potato, and waiting an hour to get it. I really was dissapointed it was too bothersome to cut my potato or provide me silverware to do so, don't waste your time getting excited about their entrees and just stick to the meat combos unless you want to do half the prep for them. I'd rather wait for a finished product, or don't charge finished product prices if your selling me what I could get out of a hot rack at the grocery store.

So first off this is the only place my husband an I will get bbq from, it’s always consistent, delicious an fresh. So this night we decided to doordash it an my husband always gets the two meat dinner with ham an polish sausage. About 10 minutes after we ordered I got a call from a very sweet girl who apologized profusely about them being out of ham would we like a substitution, of course it wasn’t a big deal an I told her that an had them just give us sliced brisket instead. I didn’t think anything of it until our food arrived an imagine my surprise when that nice girl included a piece of their chocolate sheet cake for absolutely no cost along with a sweet note. It just solidified this place as our go to bbq place. This place is pure gold in my book.
