It wasn't that busy this last time, but it was freezing cold inside! Maybe that's why the cook didn't get the order correct...? Lol After our food was corrected, it was really good! I was a bit concerned by the condensation from the ac vent, dripping on the counter, right by a gentleman's plate.😳 The waitress merely put a towel down by his plate, because she "didn't want any of that nasty water dripping in his food."😬 So glad I spotted this location, while we were out running around Saturday! It's hard to find a decent place to eat, late at night. (That's just been our experience each time we've waited til we were heading home late, to grab a bite.) Our waitress was excellent, very nice and polite! The place was clean and the people seemed genuinely happy to be there. That's much appreciated after a long day, and you're not looking for something to merely soak up a bunch of alcohol! I was so anxious to dig in, I forgot to take a pic. But the sandwiches we had were delicious, and the smothered & covered hash browns were on point!😋

Waffle House is an experience with a following that borders on fanatical - like fans of the Grateful Dead! It’s a chain. Same restaurants in any city/state. Reliable and always good! You get a ton of food at a very decent price. I get the “all star” breakfast that comes with eggs, toast, grits or hash browns, a meat choice and a waffle. I normally get the waffle w pecans and. Chocolate chips. These waffles are not thick Belgian style waffles. They are more thin - like traditional waffles - slightly thicker than pancakes. Others in our party had the hash brown bowl and the egg sandwich. All were great. You walk out of Waffle House feeling very FULL. And there are so many plates on your table, there is barely room to move! Service is always friendly with people pouring you coffee and having a quick chat. The atmosphere is that of an old diner or truck stop. If you’re alone, sit at the counter and chat with the staff or your seat neighbor. It’s a fun place. Just go. Take the kids. They will love it.

We’ve had the joy of being served by My (short for Myesha) multiple times now at the Waffle House off Aspen in Broken Arrow—and every time, her service leaves a lasting impression. She recently celebrated 15 years with Waffle House and wears her gold badge of excellence with humble pride—and it shows. From her warm smile to her welcoming spirit, My brings heart, professionalism, and genuine hospitality to every table she serves. It’s clear she doesn’t just do her job—she lives it with care and consistency. She represents the Waffle House brand with excellence, and we truly believe she deserves full recognition for the service she provides day in and day out. Thank you, My, for making breakfast feel like a bright spot in our day.

Walked in around 11PM with my girlfriend. We had this waitress that took our orders down, and everything seemed fine at first with her giving us our teas, but whenever me and my gf ordered, our waitress wanted to change our meal for some reason? I only ordered what I usually get, which is a waffle with peanut butter on, and a side of hash browns. And my gf got a hamburger with hashbrowns & sausage. What our waitress wanted to do was change my gfs sausages to eggs because she didn’t want us to spend to much, which I thought was weird? But anyway, we got our order, and everything seemed right, but the waitress kept asking me 3 TIMES if the sausage was mine. I tried to keep telling her that it wasn’t. But to be fair, it was busy that day, but I wouldn’t say to busy, and the woman looked like she was in her 60’s. But after what just happened, we got our food, and then we ate. Then after we got done eating, my girlfriend asked for a takeout cup of pickles, and the waitress gave her the pickles, but since there wasn’t enough, she asked for more. But while she was getting the pickles, she told another worker that my girlfriend was pregnant?? Just saying now, we are both 15, so this is heavily confusing & shocking. So the worker asked my girlfriend “how many weeks?” Then we were just confused & shocked as I said, but then afterward, our waitress made a excuse saying that the reason why I was shocked is because that I didn’t know that she was pregnant?? I don’t even know what happened, and I was pretty mad, but since I was nice, I only gave her a 1 dollar tip, and left. Never coming...

Anything that feels good or tastes great is either illegal, sinful or unhealthy. Sometimes all three at once. 😂 I've heard that Waffle House doesn't serve the healthiest of meals but I love just about everything on their menu and I love watching the cook make most things from scratch and whip it up right in front of you.

Waffle House is a place where the cooks can actually make a difference and do things in their own personal way and, unbelievably, it's actually fun to watch them work at times. I call it poetry in motion. The end result may not be the healthiest meal on the planet but if that's what you want, you should go home and cook it yourself.

You will always leave Waffle House in a better mood and state of wellbeing than you arrived in. Or, I should state "In my opinion". Either way, I would probably box you over a traditional breakfast of two over-medium eggs, sausage patties, grits, with a side of bacon to crush up in the grits with copious amounts of salt, pepper and Tabasco Sauce rounded off by a dessert of pecan waffles with butterscotch syrup. Not all that healthy but Dayum...
