Broken Bow Legends Neighborhood Grill — Restaurant in Broken Bow

My brother and I stopped in from out of town. We needed a quick bite to eat as we were staying across the street and the hotel restaurant was closed. We came in to order a to-go order and have a drink while we waited. I ordered a “cup” of soup, which they then brought out a six ounce styrofoam container, not full. Granted, the soup was good, but portion was disappointing. They did bring me a second portion. We also ordered French dip sandwiches, but they forgot au jus for everyone, we had to ask. I ordered a salad with ranch dressing. When we got back to the hotel and I had no dressing. I managed to get some from the hotel the next morning, however I found a hair in the salad, so inedible. So, I heard they were doing different featured items for lunch on Wednesday. Sparked my interest. As, we can't stand to go out and order a hamburger/fries. This week was Haas pizza with side and a drink for $12. Started with a large beautiful salad and the pizza was very impressive!!! Can't type enough exclamation marks!!! We went there during the mid-afternoon hours and had a great experience. The bartender and the cook had a pleasant conversation with us as we were the only ones there at the time. The menu was typical of a small bar and grill, but the items we ordered were hot and tasty. The only thing I would suggest is to put in more tap beer selection.
