Belly Buster — Restaurant in Brookfield Township

UPDATE: They redid the menu and took off the cheese sub. 5 months ago I paid $7 for the 8" sub but they said they had it saved in the system so I could order it instead of the build your own. Somehow on take out it was $9. Funny thing is that the build your own is $8.50 for the 8" sub but you get two meats and cheese. How does that work that I paid for a sub that only had cheese on it, but is more than a meat sub. I'm sorry but cheese subs should be cheaper because meat is clearly more expensive.

I keep trying this place and I don't even know why. Foods not good. They short you on what they put on the subs and the personality of the workers is like I'm the inconvenience to them placing an order

UPDATE: They offer toasted subs now but what they don't tell you is that they charge $0.50 per sub. They barely toasted our subs and it just felt more like the bread was stale. I also only got two tomatoes on my 8"sub. I wish this place was like the old Belly Buster. 2023 - Subs usually yummy but today subs were dry. Fiancé asked for mustard and there was none. Bread can be a little on the tough side though. Customer service could be a little nicer. People barely talk. Wish they would put a little patio in the front to eat outside. Sometimes you want to eat outside and enjoy the day. They recently remodeled this location and I think they aren't done. Feels very cold. Lights look like spiders...

A very solid 4 almost a 5. The Subs are amazing some of the best in town. If you are in Brookvillie definitely give it a try. They have never messed up my order. I really only have 2 critiques and I give this criticism as a fan, not a hater. 1. When taking orders don't try and rush the customer off the phone. The last 2 times I placed an order for pickup the person taking the order was in a hurry and was focused on taking the order as fast as possible and not listening to what I was saying. They still got the order right but I had to keep interrupting them to make sure they got it all. My second critique is consistency. The other weekend I ordered a sub and it was amazing, the bread was nice and soft it had the consistency and texture I love on a sub bread, it truly is what make a great sub and they nailed it. Then yesterday I ordered a similar sub and the bread was much more dense and thicker, biting into it felt like it was made with a thicker dough. The experience was cheapened by the poor bread quality. However all the other times I placed an order here it was fantastic so maybe I just got my sub on a bad...

Was just in this wonderful sub shop and couldn't wait to leave a review. I met the owners and didn't even realize they were the owners until I was about to leave. A very nice young couple with a staff that was just as friendly.

The sub itself was amazing. I got the large sub and I believe it was 15" he said. It was packed full of meat and cheese. They had several toppings and sauces to choose from.

Then I got a piece of strawberry shortcake and also met the baker. The shortcake was perfect(almost to much for one person to eat all at once but I did lol). Fresh strawberries and the crust and filling was just enough.

The price was better than most places with smaller subs and..... no strawberry shortcake lol.
