Brookfield Family Diner — Restaurant in Brookfield Township

This places review started out as a 5 star review and has been re-edited 3 times now...we will not be back.

When customers come and the place is only a quarter full and the both order something that literally takes 6 to 7 minutes to cook they do not expect to wait 45 minutes on their food with empty beverage glasses... piss poor service!

FYI people eat food on Mondays...corned beef hash is not breakfast food so when it's the best thing on your menu don't make the idiotic assumption that your Friday diners want your nasty meatloaf or your craptasical meatball sub.

Perhaps...just perhaps...I am just saying after 20 years in the food service industry...just perhaps they should consider that their paying customers like to eat on days like Thanksgiving! Now I am not saying the the restaurant's paying customers should be able to come in and eat at 4:00 p.m. on thanksgiving but I am saying that since their paying customers cannot come in and eat at 8:00 a.m. or noon on thanksgiving that perhaps the restaurant's ownership and worker forgot they are employed in the SERVICE INDUSTRY!

Why the hell do they think I am not working as a cook....not because I don't enjoy working as a cook...but because I went to high school and college and college again and I got sick and tired of the service industry being open every holiday and every weekend. Perhaps if the owners and the workers don't want to work every weekend and every holiday they should consider jobs that aren't in the...

Ok so went here for breakfast on a Sunday arrived at 10:40am. There were 3 of us we all ordered breakfast as we sat there for 40 minutes and I watched other tables that arrived after us and to go orders go out the door. I finally ask the same lady about our breakfast that made a joke on how they had to go to the farm to get the eggs, she said she didn't know she was waiting on a to go order. 15 minutes later our food finally arrived. Then when were leaving the same lady tried to make an excuse that the one table that I brought to her attention that arrived later than us but received their food before us, only had eggs. I informed her that it was not just one table she said oh I didn't know that. They took $4 off our bill for our wait. Total time there 1...

I don't know how we never have come here for dinner, but I am definitely glad we wised up and dined on their delicious food. When I say delicious..it is exactly that. The food was soooo good. We all ordered the roast beef dinner. Amazing!!! Fork tender...so tasty and a huge plentiful portion. That came with mashed potatoes and corn. Everything and I mean everything, was scrumptious from the first bite to the last. We also got the cheeseburger soup! Sooo good! Lots of hamburger in a cheesy soup base! For dessert we got delicious homemade apple and strawberry rhubarb pie. Wow! Even the crust was super delicious and I am a crust tosser. I ate every bite.
