Yankee Lake — Restaurant in Brookfield Township

I've been coming here for years and always had great service, and fish dinners were always the best. Came here friday for the fish, and it was ok. Definitely not the same fish you used to carry. Im ok with all you can eat beer battered fish not being all you can eat. The fish you replaced it was not good. Bring back the old beer battered fish you used to have and get rid of the fried fish you have now. For a friday night you need to have more than 2 servers. We waited for almost 15 minutes before anyone noticed we were there. We were getting ready to walk out until the bartender noticed we were at a table, and she came over and apologized to us . Definitely not like the old yankee Lake used to be. I dont know if it's a new owner who does not care or if the old owner is just not caring either. If you sat at the bar, the service was good there from what i saw, but definitely not in the dining room area. I feel bad for the 1 server in the dining area as it was starting to get busy when we were leaving around 5 pm. It's a normal dinner rush,...

It's been close to 21 years since I had Yankee Lake fried fish. My husband, "Fast" first brought me while we were dating.It became a "Friday Night thing" when it wasn't racing season.

It was traditionally busy and the food was as delicious as i remember. One question, has the fish batter recipe been changed...I thought it was beer battered? Still amazing!

We went on a Fri night for a few dribks. Nice craft beer selection, my absolute favorite pomegranate shandy on tap! Bar is stocked well and bartender very expierienced. Food was very good and priced fairly. I had the fish special & my spouse had a steak. Both meals were adequate and prepared nicely. Good flavor. Decent sized room. Dining room was on the opposite side of the building. Regulars are plentiful. Good sign! We'll go back for sure. Close by our home...
