Dude's Sausage & Biscuit — Restaurant in Brookhaven

This location is basically drive-thru only. A very small location that has no dine-in option. It has two picnic tables outside, but it seems to be the happening place as the drive-thru had a consistent flow of customers. The eggs taste like they might come out of a carton rather than a chicken. The bacon was delicious, you get one biscuit, some grits, and a large soda for about $8.50. From appearances, the staff has their jobs down to a science as you do not have to wait very long to get your breakfast. Being a first-time visitor, I didn't get to sample a lot of the menu, but with the consistent flow of traffic, the food appears to be pretty good. If you want to eat here, their hours are from 4:00...

In the parking lot of Cracker Barrel and dreading spending 25 bucks to get everything I want to eat for breakfast....something said....go look for a Ma & Pop place for breakfast....they have em for everything else! Sure enough I came across DUDE'S. High tailed outta that lot!

Got there and the line was wrapped around the building y'all! I didn't wanna chance them running out of nothing, so I ran in.

Got the biscuits...gravy...fried eggs...ham....bacon...links....patties....and sweet tea. BABYYYYYYYYYYY....I'm too sleepy to go to my hair appt!

WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! Sweet folks...

If you're looking for something fancy, this ain't the right place! If you're looking for a good old-fashioned ma & pop type joint, BINGO!! I've been looking at this place for quite some time, and finally gave it a try today. When I walked in, I didn't expect to see so many people working... The gears were grinding and it was quite impressive! I got the breakfast plate with grits, eggs, bacon, and a biscuit! Everything was delish! The biscuit stood out to me cause it was fluffy, delicious, and almost perfect! Pretty cool...
