I ordered a "Major Jamaican Dish" Which was escovitch š (i.e. Fish) which comes with rice & peas and Cole slaw I'm not sure if plantains was supposed to come with it, not sure But none the less ... It Was real good !
I just wanted people to be real considerate before posting bad reviews
I had to wait real long for my food even pass the given time that I was told it would be ready
But I have learned we have to do away with this 1st world š problem mindset You have to understand their are people who wake up and go to sleep Not knowing if they going to eat for the day, week or month so be patient And stop behaving as if you about to die We have people right now being prevented from being supplied with water š§, food , any kind of aid
But they are praising God & thanking him by being patient even though they facing a genocide Something to think about A faith that everyone should look into
So before posting negative reviews Remember these are Authentic cultural restaurants which are cooking "Real Food" So don't leave bad reviews Just because of wait time the reason for that, is because...
1- a lot of places are under staff, because for whatever reason after covid seem like no one wants to work 2- some places can't afford to pay someone because they may not have the business as of yet to afford an extra employee 3-Real food that is cooked like how people will cook in their own personal homes Really takes time , which is the main ingredient to tasty food hint: reason for the concept of fast food which equal = š š® 4- remember star reviews š In a lot of people mind when they see it means food ain't good That's why I dismiss people that leave reviews complaining about Mess up on order or wait time
If it ain't a review that talks about taste and cost/price to portion given I just ignore This is an advice to anywhere you eat at especially when it's an "Authentic" restaurant

I had the oxtail, and let me tell youātender, flavorful, and fall-off-the-bone delicious. Every bite felt like a warm hug from home. The coleslaw was perfectly craftedācool, crisp, and the ideal balance to the rich flavors. The rice? Light, fluffy, and full of that seasoned goodness you dream about. And donāt skip the plantainsātheyāre sweet, caramelized to perfection, and served in generous portions.
I also tried the Jammin Chicken Jerk, and WOWājust the right kick, smoky and satisfying, with layers of flavor that leave you wanting more.
But the real star? Nadiaās sauce. Itās to die for. Rich, bold, and unforgettableāitās the kind of secret recipe you wish was sold in stores (but sadly, itās not). If you make it here, buying a bottle (or two) is a must!
What truly sets this place apart, though, is Nadia herself. The customer service is outstandingāwarm, welcoming, and full of pride. You can tell she pours her heart into every dish, going above and beyond to make you feel like youāve just come home to Jamaica.
Be prepared for a little waitāitās a small price to pay for food made with love. As they say, good things come to those who wait. So show a little grace, bring your appetite, and enjoy the food you didnāt know you needed.
Thank you, Nadia, for this unforgettable experienceāIāll be back...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food is incredible and tasted just like I was back in Jamaica. The beef pattie was light, crispy and the perfect balance of seasoned beef. The jerk chicken has a nice smoky flavor throughout every bite. The customer service was top of the line and helpful. Will definitely be back.
Update: Each and every visit to this restaurant is next level. There is so much love put into every single dish. The flavors are fresh, authentic and truly tantalizing to your soul. My favorite is the curry chicken. But everything is incredible. Hands down best Jamaican restaurant in Minnesota.
They even have their own jerk sauce now. All fresh ingredients and incredible flavor. Absolutely a must have for your cooking needs.
And words cannot explain the joy and warmth you feel when you walk into this place. You will get a warm greeting regardless of whether you have visited once or lots of times. And its genuine. Its not just good customer service, its a whole vibe. This family genuinely cares about everyone who walks in the door and cares that your experience is good overall.
