The food is usually good, and the service is usually good. But the last time we ordered from here, both were lacking, thus the 4 stars. We ordered 2 pad thais. They ask you how spicy you'd like it, 1 thru 5. We ordered one at a 2 star, and the other at a 5 star. When we got the pad thai it was VERY obvious that they were cooked together because the 2 star was extremely spicy. We had 3 people try it before we even called to report the mistake, and everyone agreed that it was way spicier than a 2. The woman that answered the phone was apologetic and said they'd start another one right away. Once my friend arrived with the pad thai to exchange, she encountered an older woman that was not as friendly, to put it nicely. The first thing she said was, "you ordered a 5!" my friend agreed that we had ordered one as a 5, and that wasn't the problem, the 2 was also made as a 5. She then proceeded to argue with my friend that she added the spice herself and that it was impossible that the 2 wasn't a 2. She told her that I ordered level 2 pad thai from there all the time and never had a problem before. Her response was, "your friend should order a 0 spice then if she can't handle spice." Then she made my friend wait 15 minutes while she made another one, even though we had been told when we called that they'd start one right away.

Now, I'm not a spice wimp by any means, I can handle spice, but just not a level 5. I have ordered pad thai from many other places and they're able to make it at a medium spice level with no problems. If the only options are 0 or 5, then state that at the time of ordering. Like I said, I have eaten many tasty meals from Thai Fusion, but unfortunately, this last trip left a bad taste in my mouth. I would still recommend it to others, as this could've been an individual that doesn't normally work with customers, but I will personally be ordering Thai takeout from other places around...

I can't believe this gem was in my back yard all this time. Today was the first time we came here. We have been to a lot of the Thai restaraunts in town and this one is as good as any of them in my opinion. We had a shrimp spring roll which was light, fresh and tasty for an appetizer. Then we had (whole) fish curry and massamum with shrimp and both were very good. I made mine medium to hot and it was amazing.. sweet and spicy! Shrimp is tail on -- I don't like that, but that is how it comes in Thailand too. We ended with mango rice which was warm and super delicious. We got a little bit of bitter mango, but that didn't deter us. The service was prompt and excellent. We'll be going here frequently from now on.

Update 3/19/17 - took a star off the review. We had a partly bad experience today. They close at 8pm, we got there at 7:15 and put our order in right away to give the kitchen time to make it. They had to come back to verify our order once, and then to tell us they ran out of potatoes for the yellow curry. Our drinks didn't come for at least 10 minutes after our order and the silverware showed up 5 minutes after the appetizer arrived. We never saw the guy who took our order again (I suspect he was actually a cook) While the yellow curry was delicious but didn't come medium-hot as requested, the green curry wasn't quite as good as last time, and then they forgot to put the sticky rice/mango on the ticket and they said they ran out of mango as the table next to us got one. I'm pretty sure they just didn't want to do it as the kitchen was closing. Lesson learned, don't come near closing time and have them repeat the order back to you...

When the new owner took over, the food for the prices were amazing! Unfortunately, my husband and I cannot say the same anymore. We have ordered take-out from them 5-6 times since the new owner took over and every time they: 1) Got the order completely wrong; 2) Only gave us half of our order; or 3) Only gave us a food portion about the size of our fist (this was for all of our dishes we ordered whether it was pad thai, a stir-fry, etc., it was anything we ordered). All the times we have been eating in, the flavor of the food has seemingly been disappearing and getting more bland and their portions have gone from large portions to too small where it's just enough to feed a young child which does not sit as enough for an adults stomach. We usually order a diverse amount of dishes to stir fry, salad's (papaya, laab, etc), and pho so it doesn't apply to certain dishes in specific categories. Huge decreases in their food is especially true of their pho during eat-in AND take out. Their regular pho went from a small/medium size pho to a kids size pho, not to mention, they have increased their menu prices by two-three dollars for every entree. I understand they want to move towards more of a "fine dining" with higher prices and less food like Lemon Grass, but with the quality and quantity of the food at their current prices, I'd much rather go to Lemon Grass and spend a little more for a bigger portion and great tasting food or even go down the strip to Thanh Vi. We will definitely be supporting other businesses aside from Thai Fusion now in...

Came here for lunch. Service was good. Was seated and promptly brought water. Food did not take long to come out. We ordered a combo pho, chicken wings, and basil chicken special. There is only one size to the pho to let you know. The chicken wings were typical deep fried. No dipping sauce was given. The taste was okay, nothing spectacular. Would've been better if it came with a dipping sauce. The pho broth was okay. You can tell it has been watered down if you know what I mean and fish sauce was added to it for more taste. On to the basil special. I asked for a level 4 spicy out of 1-5. It tasted like a level 1. Very sweet instead. Not much meat, but the veggies were fresh. Didn't care too much for the sauce they used. For the pad Thai, it's hard to find a place that makes good pad thai. Their pad Thai was very sweet as well. I felt like I was eating noodles with ketchup. Some may like that, but I wasn't really feeling it. So having 2 sweet dish was not my liking. The rice helped it taste better by neutralizing the sweetness. The chicken was a bit on the dry side and the noodles for the pad Thai was a little bit on the hard side. Next time I'd probably not order those again and try something else. This is in no way to bash this place, but to give feedback to help them become better. Came out to eat here and support small local restaurants.

I can't make this up. It wouldn't change anything if I went back in there anyways, I can't exactly prove that this is what i bit into without them thinking I must've put it there. Not only was it hard to communicate with the person taking my order, but I literally bit into this. Keep in mind that I paid $43 for this. A bone was what went through my mind when I felt it, but this? This was my first time here, so I can't exactly vouch and say that their egg rolls dont have this in it, but i know for a fact that im never going here again. Also, the person taking my order was really quiet and hard to communicate with, I'm an introvert but i know when to set aside my introvert-ness and be an adult.

Ordered lunch delivery with GrubHub. I was just looking for a nearby option that would be quick and fit my tastes. I am glad I tried! Their pad thai is now on my top 10 for the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area. I love it when pad thai has tamarind taste for that sour to combat the sweet. It was saucy, and the noodles were perfect. I love that I asked for extra lime, and they gave me a whole lime. I also got a lao style papaya salad. I loved that there were a good mix of beans, tomatoes, and even lime slices! Although my tastes prefer sour and that is why I lean for Thai food, I think their food quality is something to not miss!
