Where do I even begin with this place. Disregard their hours of operation, apparently to the restaurant, both the hours online and on their front door are wrong. We got attitude saying that we needed to hurry up and order because the kitchen was closed an hour before what the door sign said. 2/4 of our meals were wrong and the waiter didn’t even write down our order. My wife is pregnant, and pregnant people usually have food aversion. We asked them to remake the food without pickles and the food came out no joke a minute later and they said that they remade it. It still tasted like pickles so we brought it up. The waiter asked if we wanted anything other than that and then proceeded to say that all the food was put away. She gave us really bad attitude and cursed us out in the back of the kitchen with everyone else. They remade the food and we over heard the cooks pretending to spit on our food. We heard them make a noise like “hawk tuha”. Shame on you Sarah and shame on the manager who didn’t want to even talk with us. Thank you to the bartender who made it feel like not everyone in the restaurant was against us. Here’s some advice promote your bartender to manager and you’ll have a better restaurant....
Read moreWent to a party at this location. Service was very underwhelming. We waited for an hour to get two different appetizers. It seemed the waitress was not able to keep up with the service requests. There was only one waitress for the party with approx 12 adults and numerous children. The restaurant was busy and did not seem to have enough waitress help. Our waitress was also assigned to tables inside the restaurant. Another couple at our table ordered three different king of chicken wings which never came out until they cancelled their order and the kitchen manager came out to talk to them. Most orders for the party weren't served until about 2 hours after the order was taken. We had to chase down the waitress for drinks. The patio was supposed to be reserved for the party, however, the waitress told other patrons they could sit out there. This is the second location in Brooksville we've been at. The other was on Cortez Blvd., which I believe is now closed. Thar location was worse than this one. I was surprised because when we first visited the Horseshoe Lake location, approx three years ago we had good service and the food was good. Seems like it has been going downhill from there. Won't...
Read moreI'm always tickled that we go to a place called Beef's to get chicken! Kinda like jumbo shrimp?? Nah.....
What's really great about THIS Beef's is.......... EVERYTHING!
First of all, it's a beautiful location under the trees with a country feel to it right off the busy Cortez trail. Inside it's bright and clean with plenty of seating, whether at the bar or a table. They have a wonderful outside patio, too.
You expect the food to be identical at any Beef's, naturally. But Horse Lake Beef's always pushes the 'Like' button with their menu items. It must be the talented kitchen staff cooking with 'Love', including the Amazing Amanda! She's the Queen of Her Wingdom!
I gotta give a shout-out to the one, the only Angela M! She works the bar like an actor works the stage. I think she is a perpetual motion machine or an Energizer Bunny clone. She gleefully greets those walking in the front door. She always has a huge smile and a kind word. She really is the dip to the chips. The 'Ohhh' in Beef 'O' Brady's!
Fab Fiancé and yours truly have had nearly every menu item. Order up, ya can't go wrong. Give those cheese curds a try.......we laugh just saying it!
Tell them Beth and...
