I placed a catering order about a week prior to the company event I was planning and it was confirmed that they would be delivering the food at 11:45 am the day of (the event started at 12 pm). I was also told they would call me when they were on their way. I didn't receive a call at all. I called at 11:50 am to see where they were at and was told they would give me a call back. About 15 minutes passed and they called me back to say it was going to be another HOUR before the food was going to be delivered. This was for a company event where employees planned to attend during their lunch breaks. I had already communicated the originally set time to all employees, so of course they started arriving at the original time and I had to turn people away and tell them it was going to be another hour before the food was delivered. This really threw off the plans for the event and led to a lot of employees not being able to attend. The food didn't get delivered until an hour and 45 minutes later (the time of the event was 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, the food arrived at 1:30 pm instead of 11:45 am as planned). I did receive one apology over the phone when she was telling me the food was going to be late, but no apologies when the food was delivered. I believe they forgot about the order and didn't start it until I called asking where they were. I was never given any reason as to why the food was delivered so late. They sent me an invoice a week and a half after the event. I responded 3 days later requesting a discount. They said I could have gotten a discount if I would have asked on Monday, but since I responded 3 days later that it was no longer an option. They felt they amended the situation by not billing me the day of the delivery. Then they tried to turn the tables on me and say that I threw them off by not paying the same day I was invoiced. They ended up giving me a 10% discount in the end. However, I cannot believe how terrible the service was here. We have given them a lot of business over the years when they were at their Riverview location and this was just a complete lack of respect and terrible customer service. My wife called and said the order wasn't correct and called and they argued then said they'd remake it. I drove up there with the chicken enchiladas and the lady instantly starting arguing with me, I could tell she was angry yet the first thing I said was hey sorry about that. She explained enchilada Verde is chicken and I said she orders every week ground beef enchilada with Verde, honestly not a big deal I wasn't mad at the small situation. She told me she decided not to make the food and give us extra food, I said you don't have to give us extra I brought back the chicken on the counter I just want to have it corrected. She gave me a hypothetical "would I work extra for your mistake, it's not my mistake it's your wifes I'm not making the food" I said if that's how you feel your gonna lose my business because I've worked in the food business that's not what you do especially in a small community with little traffic. The enchiladas had hardly any meat or chicken inside, was so greasy in the middle and I wish I had taken a picture of the end one's. Was very hard and chewy like. We wanted flour, got corn tortillas. My husband even gave a $4.11 tip for a carryout that sucked. See receipt. Says for here. No, was a carryout. Bonus was the lady that took my order over the phone was absolutely wonderful.
