We're from Texas and drove up for our kids to compete in the Junior Olympics in Eugene but we're staying in Brownsville. We hadn't had Mexican / TexMex in a week so we went to Armando's for dinner on 7/22/23. The reputation of Mexican food in Oregon isn't great so we went in with low expectations. We were very pleasantly surprised! Staff was very helpful and let our kids put together options that weren't really even on the menu. My son had a half chicken and cheese quesadilla and beans and rice as his meal. My daughter had a crunchy taco with beans and rice as well. Wife and I split the beef fajitas. Everything was really delicious. We very much enjoyed our meal. If you're in the area and looking for Mexican I can definitely recommend it.

I love the food and the service and the frosty adult beverages!!! I try to hold my weekly "business" meeting at Armando's (code for hanging out with my daughter enjoying delicious food). I recommend the Armando's Super Nacho plate with shredded beef. So intoxicatingly delicioso. Adding to my previous review...a business dinner to celebrate with my daughter. Thanks, Tishe for the AWESOME "adult" lemonade. And the food was amazing as always!

Great local eatery. Drinks and delicious as well. Enjoyed the mango margarita, watermelon margarita and a long island. I had the fish tacos, wifey had the carne asada, kids had nuggets and fries and taquitos.

We came in on a busy day and it was clear they were short-staffed. The waitress was nice and did apologize a lot, so we didn’t mind waiting too much, especially since it was “Stand By Me Day.” But still, the whole experience was kind of a mess.

We were sat at the bar after a wait and ended up sitting there about 15 minutes before we even got our margarita. A couple that came in way after us got asked what they wanted to drink before we were even acknowledged, and their food order was taken first too. That was frustrating.

The bar area was pretty gross. Dusty, dirty, with old mixing cups left out and even an old Diet Coke can sitting next to my spot. Just not a good look. I got the seafood burrito and it was dry and honestly just not good.I couldn’t even finish it, and I usually love it. It didnt have the cream sauce -just sourcream, and no sliced avocado as said on the menu.

I still tipped well because I felt bad for the waitress, she was clearly stressed and trying to do it all. I overheard her complaining about not being able to get ahold of someone, and turns out they were just down a dishwasher. But from the way things were going, it felt like they needed a whole extra crew. One person was basically doing everything serving, taking orders, drinks, food running, water, menus, all of it while one person did drinks and food running.

It used to be way better here. I really hope they get a better system in place or more help soon, because this visit was...

Pretty heavily unimpressed by this restaurant. Have eaten here a few times now and each time has been disappointing.

I walked in with a group of 7 at 8:05pm. They close at 9pm and there were others in the restaurant. The host (who ended up being our server as well) actually rolled her eyes and sighed while getting our menus. Impressive. She then proceeded to literally throw our menus on the table, making a loud slap sound for each one. Yikes.

When it came time to order, the server was noticeably impatient. This was unsettling to our group. My wife's order is a little special as she can't have onions. Apparently this was also offensive to our server, who again rolled her eyes. Then she almost left without taking everyone's order.

Drinks came, but we were one short. 2 reminders later we finally got the last drink. Also regarding drinks, no one at our table ever got a refill despite several empty glasses.

The food came a bit later (not too long) and it was honestly the most bland Mexican food I have ever had. I'm used to Mexican food being pretty lame in the northwest, but this was even worse. Oh, and my wife's dish had onions all over it. She opted to pick them off rather than complain. Her dish tasted slightly better than mine, but still not even as good as a cheap TV dinner. Lame.

I could go on, but there's no point. Simply put, this is the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever visited, both in service and flavor. I will...

We love there food and there service was excellent. My husband get 2 alcohol drinks.. The owner who was the waitress alway says "granpa you want the same thing?" Then she takes off to get him is his drink. I have 1 bad commet The bathroom doors are to small. My wheelchair won't fit in the doors. I had to put my brakes on then stand up (I have one leg) I had reach around and grab the handicap bars, then reach over to grab the toilet paper holder to take a step without fallin.. Then I had to take another step. I almost fell, turn myself around to sit on the toilet. A woman and her daughter came in to chage a diaper. I felt embarrassed because I couldn't close the door. Plus when the main door is opened everyone can see me. I really do love the place. We eat there at...
