Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Brownsville

If I could leave a minus or negative stars I would leave minus 5, we bought the family pack, chicken cover was dry, overcooked and brown ish, BUT THE WORST PART was the macaroni it was burnt also overcooked and the appearance was horrible, I went back to let them know and the only thing the person in charge (who at the begining said he was the manager, then he said he wasn't just the one in charge for the shift) did was say "do you want another one or what" no apology at all. I was so upset I told him "the thing here is not if you give me another one, the thing here is that you won't eat this, not your family not MY family, why you serve something like this?" He just said "nothing is wrong, it's because it's crispy " I said, REALLY I'm 50 some years old and so you think I don't know how to make macaroni? MACARONI IT'S NOT CRISPY !!!! I told him he should give me the money back and he said I needed to return everything I bought but I just took the macaroni back not the chicken however it's not just about the money, it's about the service ! ... I should save the pics to the post, but I erased them 😕 I'm not coming...

Of all the Churchs Chicken restaurants in Brownsville, this is by far the best in every category. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile. The ordering process was facilitated with suggestions and tips for getting the most for my money. The food was fresh out of the fryer and was delicious. You may argue that there is better chicken out there, but I had the best overall experience. Good food - great service, can't beat that...

Ayer Fui con mi novio a consumir en ese Local por primera vez, el jovencito que nos atendía estaba algo serio quizá no entendíamos porque!!! Aun así fue cordial... le comente a mi novio se sienten muy tensos. El es propietario de negocios de comida también así que trabaja con empleados y notó esa vibra super incomoda en el ambiente. Cuando el joven tomó nuestra orden una señora que estaba tomando las órdenes de drive thru... le hizo una pregunta al chico sobre algo de nuestro pedido pero la manera en como le habló nos hizo entender a mi novio y a mi que ahí era el problema... se sentía como una cárcel el ambiente... los niños trataban de hacer su mejor esfuerzo pero la mujer trae una vibra muy pesada... si es la manejante le falta más ética laboral. Puedo rescatar que la comida fue buena y los niños trataron de hacer un buen trabajo. Pero espero que el ambiente sea mejor para la próxima... la mujer me dio tristeza, se veía con insatisfacción al hacer las cosas no...
