Costa Blanca Mariscos — Restaurant in Brownsville

Costa Blanca was honestly a big surprise for us. Located right next to little cesars on Southmost, I have to be honest when I say I wasn't expecting much. Boy was I wrong! They have the best fried calamari, coctel de camaron, and marisco soup! It's a small cozy place but the food came out boiling hot and they didn't take long at all. The service was awesome and everybody was friendly. Definitely recommend you getting a bite from this place! One downside is that the pescado chicharon was not at all crunchy. If they left it a little longer and added just a different seasoning then it would have been great! Other than that don't let that keep you from experiencing this...

Ordered their surtido de mariscos for take out and their sea food tasted old and their breading had purple and blue in it. The worst thing about the plate was that the salad was soggy and brown. I called to ask for a refund due to the loss of appetite and they could only offer me a change of the seafood I didn’t touch. Honestly would not recommend this...

A plate of 12.99 is charged at 14.61 when asked about the price they said 50.c for plate to go and even with the tax the price did not make sense. Also the change given to me was short one dollar.
