Tacos Matamoros — Restaurant in Brownsville

Was told it was a great Mexican restaurant. Makes you feel right at home with Spanish music or novelas. So we go to try and we walk in... there's rap music with women in bikinis and thongs twerking on TV. Very annoying asked waitress to change it, that i didn't want my daughter seeing that. She looked annoyed ... Got my order wrong the torta was a mini tiny little thing but paid 7.00 but it was ok. Waitress even laughed when I asked her if that was the torta. She looked surprise ... Taste was good but atmosphere and quality was horrible. Asked for management she said no one was there. Back to...

The food was ok..but the prices are outrageous!! We paid 23 for two orders of tacos and two drinks! Not knowing that the combos come with can sodas because they didnt tell us and we only found out when we went to pay! It says one price on the building, a different price on the menu and then the waitress tells us those arent the prices either that it cost more than it says on the menu! False advertising and a blatant rip off for london broil tacos!! Will...

The first time I had gone there I loved the tacos. They were delicious. I went today and the girl taking my order was super rude. She looked almost annoyed to be taking our order. I decided to add more to my order and she even made a face. So rude and disrespectful. The charro beans with our order had pork skin with hairs still on them . You could feel them poking at your tongue while eating them. Probably won't go back there...
