Mr. Taco — Restaurant in Brownsville

Terrible establishment all the way around, and ill be sure to let all my acquaintances know. The service was way below acceptable. The staff was rude and inefficient. the wait was exceptionally long for the amount of people in the restaurant. The food was cold and the order was wrong. the restroom was filthy as was the dinning room. which should have been a red flag had i not been to starved to notice. Afterwards I stood at the counter right in the faces of multiple employees without being acknowledged. at one point i was rudely shoved aside by a waitresspasaing by all while patiently waiting to place an order to go and to check out. once acknowledged i mentioned i would like to place an order to go. The waitress ignored me and skipped me to attend to the people behind me. I kindly mentioned that ahe had skipped me and i was once again ignored. after Repeating myself louder on the chance she didn’t hear me, which im most positive she did because she flagged me to the side. I got fed up and stormed outside, hoppped in my truck and left. I hope everyone that reads this passes the word along not to eat at mr. taco de perro in olmito. there is much better places to eat for much...

Food was good and our waiter was friendly. The lady at the counter though needs to work on her customer service and learn to help out when people are walking in instead of leaving the waiter by himself. We walked in when there was only 1 table waiting for their food so we sat down. She was on her phone the whole time and didnt bother saying anything to us. I walked to the counter to ask if we order with her or at the table. She didn't look at me and kept staring at her phone and said at the table. I asked for menus and she said someone would give them to us. like I said food was good and nothing wrong with our order. I did have to get the waiters attention to get more lemonades since he was busy trying to attend everyone while the lady at the counter stayed on her phone. We have eaten taquitos in the valley when we visit, but, this place is no where near taquitos. We ordered 2 Birria tacos, first the tortillas were falling apart, the tortilla was not flat like they are supposed to be, the tortilla didn't have the red color, the meat wasn't even toasty, lacked so much flavor. Look up how birria tacos are supposed to be made. 2nd We ordered 1 molleja taco, now from when I can remember the mollejas are grilled toasty, these were like cooked in water all slimy, lacked so much flavor as well. 3rd. we ordered 2 bistec tacos, no flavor at all.
