Taco Chino — Restaurant in Brownsville

My husband and i had dinner here last night, i ordered 4 tacos and a 1 sope and my husband his food. When we got our food i received 4 tacos and 1order of sopes, which is 3. So i called the girl and told her i only ordered one. She apologized and took them back to correct the order. When we went to pay the girl was charging me with another young man. They were talking in English, (my husband doesn't speak English, so we ordered in Spanish and spoke Spanish all the time we were there) which makes me believe they thought we don't understand English. I heard the girl said to the young man: No, its only 2.50 because it was just one. He looked at her and she asked, do i start all over? And he said, No that's fine. They charged us over 33dollars. Place was open late. Called and placed a pickup order Service was good the common areas and the inside of the place was clean. Older building however it Smelled fresh and clean. Since we ordered to go I haven't tried them. Although on the small side, they look and smell decent. Price was $1.50 per taco on taste I guess We'll see. Tried them. They're decent. Anyone giving this place less than 5 stars must be a Yankee and never had mexican food. This place is legit! The food was awesome. If you like the real taste of authentic Mexican food, this is the spot. We got the pecan pie and the oreo pie to go. The oreo pie was OK, but the pecan pie (pastel de nuez) was out of this world.
