Waffle House — Restaurant in Brownsville

I was not satisfied with the evening crew my guest and I were not greeted at all the tables were not cleaned and when asked to clean the table for us she picked up a dirty towel and wiped off the table, no cleaning products nor did she use water we had to request to be served and when finally serviced our order was wrong. We felt rushed to eat as we didn't know the diner closed at a certain time. I assumed It was a 24hr diner. When it was time for is to pay the waitress had not even written up the ticket so we had to wait for her to write it out then cash us out. Worst service ever! Recently moved to this state came to this location wasn’t greeted upon arrival wanted a Togo order cashier had to pull out her phone to calculate my order guest came in to be seated their food was served before my order was made. Saw my waffles being made she used her bare hands to put my waffles in the tray. I requested fresh waffles & of course she had an attitude my steak order wasn’t completed until i inquired about it. Not very appealing when it takes forever for your order to be taken, and then your food is served cold. For such a limited menu there's 4-5 cooks on the line where at most others there are only maybe one or two. The staff talking loudly amongst themselves about how they're ready to get off and the types of alcohol they were going to buy and smoking weed. Yeah not impressed at all. Previously working in the food industry and retail myself, that was very unprofessional and probably will not be visiting this...
