Ordered for the first time today from them, I had the pineapple fried rice with chicken, had no idea that they’d make fried rice spicy (figured it would have said if there was a lot of spice added to it since fried rice doesn’t typically have spice); it was good but could only take a few bites because it was too spicy for me and can’t finish it. And I never asked for it spicy…wish they would mark what has added spice and what doesn’t like many restaurants do. was looking forward to lunch but can’t eat it now it was too spicy for me… of course next time I guess I will have to state “no spice” in order to just get regular fried rice. I’ve been coming here since high school, and now I bring my fiancée — that’s how much this place means to me. The food is consistently fantastic: Chicken Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Holy Basil Fried Rice are my go-tos, and they always taste like authentic Thai home cooking. Whether we dine in (cozy, casual, and welcoming) or grab takeout on the go, the quality is always top-notch. And the best part? The prices are still great after all these years.
