The place is clean and looks new. The server is very nice and personable. The beer is decent. When we were there other beers were very hea y feeling and after trying the flight I'm not sure I could fit more beer bc it's filling. Very cute idea for the flights with the muffin tins, makes it stable and the color coding to tel the beers is genius. While the beers weren't exactly my taste to enjoy regularly, they are good beers if you like the heavier darker type German style beers.

Great little brewery with a fabulous name and logo (I mean, how cute are those pugs?!)! They had four options on draft, including a very sippable Kolsch for summer days. Some really nice outdoor seating and they have worked hard to up the ambiance with lots of potted plants in the parking lot. Would be excited to see this brewery in another location, away from the road.

The beers on draft have unique ingredients in them that many beers don’t have. If you like the ingredients that’s great but 3 of the 6 beers they serve on draft I did not like at all. I tried to get just one replacement for one of the 3 beers on the flight I didn’t like and was told sorry it was past last call at 7:42.

First off, don't be fooled by the small location as we all know looks are definitely deceiving. We have now been in twice in a week. Always on the hunt for a good beer especially a nice sour. They checked all the boxes!! Their witchbolt is nothing short of beautiful. The black currant sour was pleasing to the pallet and made your taste buds flutter!! We came in for round 2 a week later and wanted to refill our growler with that beautiful blend of witchbolt and try some new flavors!! We met the other owner and he suggested we try the dunkleosteus- dopplebock While I absolutely enjoyed it. I have to say NONE compare to the ThaI-PA the subtle floral note from the beautiful lemon grass and the deliciously balanced ginger made this beer my new absolute favorite!!! It was bright, refreshing, and so beautifully balanced. This Wife and Husband team are an unstoppable dynamic Duo. I am beyond excited to see what they continue to brew.... Thank you for a fun little date night spot with epic beers. We look forward to seeing you again. Try the awoo!!! As usual doesn't disappoint!! Great service and fantastic beverages!!...

For Brunswick, this is the eclectic brewer. What that means is this place serves beers you aren't used to always drinking. That isn't such a bad thing! And the owners are GREAT to chat with and are passionate about their brews. Great truck food available often as well.

I did the "Brunswick brew tour" and started in town. It was a great start. Stopping at Black Pug, I really like the variety, but admit I wasn't really thrilled with any of the beers. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big beer fan, but I'm also pretty conservative on my tastes and that was rooted by German brewing rules(laws). That said, my favorite was the Blond Ale, and the most intriguing brew was the Thai IPA. (But I'm not a fan of Ginger). Other than that, I enjoyed making the stop and chatting with the owners, but this brewery is probably going to be the one you need to stop off at most often to see what's new, as they are the ones who are willing to go out on the limb to try the really experimental brews. You never know, when you're there, you might...

If you were ever curious to experience traditional beers with a twist, you must visit Black Pug Brewery! Some with spices and herbs🌿🌶🏺🍯☕🌱🌲, some with fruit🥭🍋🍈🥥🍓🥝, some with vegetables🥒🍄🥜🍠 and some with... dinosaurs🦖🦕? You'll just have to ask them about that. This is a beer adventure that you will want to repeat time and time again because being such a small brewery, they are constantly brewing something different and changing the beers on tap. They usually have 5 to 6 beers on tap and bound to offer something intriguing you "Just have to try"! (At least once.) They do offer 32oz Pug Jugs and many in bottles to go. Give them a try for yourself and tell your friends. They also have a lot of merch to choose from that they will ship or for local pickup. (Checkout their webpage) Go and support small and local if you can. You...
