First off, don't be fooled by the small location as we all know looks are definitely deceiving. We have now been in twice in a week. Always on the hunt for a good beer especially a nice sour. They checked all the boxes!! Their witchbolt is nothing short of beautiful. The black currant sour was pleasing to the pallet and made your taste buds flutter!! We came in for round 2 a week later and wanted to refill our growler with that beautiful blend of witchbolt and try some new flavors!! We met the other owner and he suggested we try the dunkleosteus- dopplebock While I absolutely enjoyed it. I have to say NONE compare to the ThaI-PA the subtle floral note from the beautiful lemon grass and the deliciously balanced ginger made this beer my new absolute favorite!!! It was bright, refreshing, and so beautifully balanced. This Wife and Husband team are an unstoppable dynamic Duo. I am beyond excited to see what they continue to brew.... Thank you for a fun little date night spot with epic beers. We look forward to seeing you again. Try the awoo!!! As usual doesn't disappoint!! Great service and fantastic beverages!!...
Read moreFor Brunswick, this is the eclectic brewer. What that means is this place serves beers you aren't used to always drinking. That isn't such a bad thing! And the owners are GREAT to chat with and are passionate about their brews. Great truck food available often as well.
I did the "Brunswick brew tour" and started in town. It was a great start. Stopping at Black Pug, I really like the variety, but admit I wasn't really thrilled with any of the beers. That said, my favorite was the Blond Ale, and the most intriguing brew was the Thai IPA. (But I'm not a fan of Ginger). Other than that, I enjoyed making the stop and chatting with the owners, but this brewery is probably going to be the one you need to stop off at most often to see what's new, as they are the ones who are willing to go out on the limb to try the really experimental brews. You never know, when you're there, you might...
