Khaao Macha Biryanis & Bowls at Market 42 has potential, but our experience was mixed. Before ordering, I asked about the spice levels since I don’t eat spicy food. The gentleman at the counter was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic, explaining that the assumption about Indian food being inherently spicy is a misconception. He assured us that spice levels could be customized, which gave me confidence in my order. My husband and I decided on the boneless chicken biryani, two sides of garlic naan, cheesy naan bites as an appetizer, and the one dessert available on the menu to go. However, no specific spice level was discussed or confirmed during the ordering process, but I assumed it would be mild given our prior extensive conversation. Unfortunately, that's when our positive experience changed; our order sat on the counter for about 10 minutes before our name was called, even though the staff saw us waiting. Once home, the biryani smelled amazing and the chicken and rice were perfectly tender. But it was so overwhelmingly spicy, to the point that my husband barely ate half, and I couldn’t eat mine at all. If someone enjoys spicy food, I imagine it would be a great dish, but given my explicit inquiry about spice levels, I felt misled. The naan, appetizer, and dessert were enjoyable, but the uncertainty around spice levels makes me hesitant to return. I would highly suggest adding indicators of spice levels to the menu so customers could make more informed choices. Overall, Khaao Macha has potential but clear spice indicators and better attention to orders would make a big difference.

Tucked inside Brunswick Market 42, this hidden gem is bringing bold, vibrant Indian flavors with a modern twist. Whether you’re craving crispy street food snacks, comforting curries, or unique Indo-Chinese fusion, this spot delivers big flavor in every bite. We had the pleasure of trying: 🍗 Award-Winning Lollipops – crispy chicken wings with bold spices 🥟 Vegetable Samosas – golden & flaky, served with mint + tamarind chutney 🥦 Gobi Biryani – fragrant basmati rice tossed with spiced cauliflower 🌶️🌶️ 🧀 Cheese Naan – soft, cheesy, melt-in-your-mouth goodness 🥤 Fresh Lassis – strawberry, blueberry, and mango flavors ☕️Masala Chai - warm cup of spiced goodness 🍜 Indo-Chinese Street Noodles – wok-tossed with egg & chicken 🍯 Gulab Jamun – warm fried dough soaked in rose sugar syrup This Indian fusion spot brings together authentic made-from-scratch curries with modern flair, plus delicious Indo-Chinese favorites like noodles and fried rice.

First timer here and I will be back for sure! I dined at their new location at Market 42 in Brunswick. Very cool concept, it's an upscale food court with some boutiques for shopping as well. I was overwhelmed by the food choices but went with my" gut" impulse to try this venue. The owner/operator was incredibly friendly and kind. I ordered butter chicken and it was so delicious! The portion was so generous that I had enough for another meal later. Looking forward to my next visit already!

Absolutely delicious!! We had them at the Akron location and was so blown away by the flavors. The best Indian restaurant in the Northeast Ohio area and one of the only restaurants in the state that we are aware of that carries one of our most favorite dishes, Lasuni Gobi! Staff was very friendly and awesome! We'll be back!

Updated Review for Brunswick location: We got the Indochinese street style noodles, Dahi Ki Kabab, Cheese Naan, Tandoori Chicken, Gobi 65, and the owner recommended the Lamb Seekh Kebab. Everything was absolutely incredible! The flavors and seasonings for the dishes here simply surpass all other Indian restaurants in the area! The Indochinese noodles were a beautiful mix of curry flavor and Chinese stir fry. The Lamb Seekh Kebab was rich without a gamey taste. It has a necessary amount of spice and light mint sauce on top. The Dahi Ki Kabab was a very charming appetizer. The tomato sauce goes very well with the crispy vermicelli outter shell and cheese! Service is impeccable as always. This is an amazing...

Never made a public food review but this is my favorite place in town!! And hands down my favorite Indian food. My first visit was at the dry opening and the owner was incredibly friendly and passionate about his food and you can feel it in his delicious dishes. Really wanted to make this review simply because of how warm and welcoming him and the team are whenever I order it. All they were serving was butter chicken and it blew me away. Even my daughter and wife who do not share my love of Indian food, really liked it. Some of the most flavorful and perfectly balanced sauce and you can tell the ingredients are high quality. The Biryani explodes with flavor!!(and heat). I want to try the other vendors in the Market but as soon as I hit the door and catch the whiff I can’t resist and head right too it. They recently added their curries which I haven’t tried but have no doubt they are amazing. Pricey but so worth it IMO. So please visit often because if they ever go out of business I will go on a...
