Original Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Buena Vista

Let me start by saying I knew the owners over 15 years ago, when they owned Franks in Chesapeake, Va. The food and service back then was the best around, to say they are passionate over serving good food in an understatement . Once, Dominic brought a pizza to my home in the the pouring rain for free when he learned I was out of work injured and kept tabs on my recovery, these are the kind, loving people making your food that I had the pleasure to come to know. To write a review and speak of cigarette butts in food and such is utter nonsense to me. I stoped here in Beuna Vista yesterday to visit and surprise them. The deluxe Stromboli, big enough for two easily, bought back so many good memories, excellent as it has always been. My other half was just dying to try the pizza, she had never had their food and said it was so good. The service was fast, the waitresses friendly, one said she has worked there 11 years. Food was piping hot when served. The tea we had with our meal was very good too. Dessert included German chocolate cake for her, over the top, excellent. My favorite, Taramasu, homemade and just so good, perfection. Portions were large and a great value for the quality. To say we had plenty of take home is an understatement lol, just wanted to sample some really good eating. Stop by, sample the menu and taste the excellent...

I only lived in this city for a couple of years and had finally stopped to eat in this little Italian restaurant only to find that the food is very excellent, and is in tune with the Italian decor along with the speedy service from the best waitresses in town. Especially 1 beautiful waitress named Jessica Hite... so everybody please go and eat and don't forget to leave a tip

Ps. I heard the truth about the story from the person that reviewed this restaurant below me only to find out that the story is not true. This customer went in and ordered a dish containing mushrooms who this person thought was a cigarette butt and took it up to the counter to tell the cashier. When the cashier took it back in brought out a plate of matching mushrooms to show the customer that the mushroom was not a cigarette butt, but indeed just a mushroom. Then this customer complained after eating half of the food of the plate again and asking for a refund which the customer had received without any hesitation. VERY HONEST AND GOOD PEOPLE! About a month ago i lost my wallet there on the table so I called the restaurant and without Hesitation the owner agreed on sending my wallet to New Jersey charging me NOTHING for that. Later, I thought about calling them to use the money in my wallet to send it but for my surprise the wallet came in my mail not long after the conversation.
