Your experience here is directly proportional to what you decide to order. I should have ordered the shawarma or falafel or a kebab, as those seemed to be delicious in both appearance and taste based on what the others in our party ordered and on what we saw. However, I ordered the chicken caesar salad because I had a craving for a healthier option. My partner got the cheese steak on the cashier's recommendation and assurance that it could be made without onions. The caesar salad came DOUSED in some sort of goopy sauce which did not even closely resemble caesar dressing. Type of dressing aside, there was entirely too much, every single leaf was drenched in it. It made the whole bowl soggy and unappetizing. The cheese steak sub was similarly drenched in a mystery goop/mayo sauce. Not only were all of the ingredients sopping with it, there was an extra thick drizzle all over the top. I had to wipe it off with a napkin and still whenever you bit into it, more mayo sauce would squeeze out in abundance. What's more, the sub had onions all throughout, contrary to the cashier saying it could be made without (my partner has an onion allergy, so I had to eat his choice and he had to take mine). Atmosphere is good, and I'm sure other food options may be better, but in my opinion this restaurant might want to rely less on thick mayo-ish sauces or at least cut back on the amounts. The food was heavy and just not very good when it's oozing that much. Likely won't be back unless it's to try something that we know won't come with all that sauce, but we also don't feel we can trust that the things we ask to be left off won't just be added on anyway... Wish them the best, but...

I was a medic in Palestine and know good falafel and this was great (although I do miss how they serve it in the West Bank and Gaza with a dozen options for toppings). The rice is also particularly good, tastes like it might have a bit of cinnamon and is cooked perfectly!
However, my husband picked it up and said the inside of the shop wasnât great and made it a better choice for take out. He also told the staff he wanted to order a side of rice because it doesnât come with the falafel platter and we wanted some. The staff seemed a bit upset with him for saying platter and not plate and corrected him sternly and seemed very confused about the rice. A woman finally said âyes get him rice and charge 4.99â, but it took quite a long time to actually get the side of rice (the rest of the order was ready quickly and on time). I was disappointed when we got home and only had half a cold hard pita cut in two for the falafel plate which says it comes with three pieces of pita (I assumed those would be full pitas). The portion size of the baba ghanoush and hummus in the falafel plate were on the small side and a generous portion of warm wrapped pita would be so much nicer. They REALLY need to add a side of rice to the menu! All that said, the food was the star. It really is wonderful, seasoned perfectly, and cooked exactly right. Every item (besides the pita) was...
Read moreIâve visited this restaurant multiple times, not just to explore the menu but to support a new business in the area, hoping each time for a better experience. Unfortunately, despite my goodwill, the food has been consistently disappointing. During my latest visit, I was told my order would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes, but I ended up waiting 40. I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap, and I was shocked to find feathers still attached to the chicken skin đł. In fact, the wrap had mostly chicken skinâbarely any meatâand to make matters worse, it was overly salty and lacked any real seasoning beyond that.
To be fair, customer service has always been friendly and welcoming, which I do appreciate. However, good service can not make up for the persistent food quality issues Iâve encountered with every visit. I truly wanted to support this place and gave it several chances, but the food preparation has been consistently subpar. Unfortunately, after multiple disappointing experiences, I donât see myself returning...
