As soon as we walked into this spot there was an aroma of something delicious and I decided I was ordering what ever itI was right then and there, lol. The waitstaff was on point and welcoming with smiles and encouraging comfort. I imagined the chef was probably in the back doing the same with the food.
The tables at The Little Club are little if you're not at a booth, but also large enough that our party of four could share a few plates of appetizers and beverages with erything on one table, lol. I truly, really, honestly appreciate the small lamps on the table. We could all easily read our menus. Most places have those votive candles, which really only provide ambiance more than assistance. I think I'm gonna add a 1/4 star for any place that is considerate or logical enough to have these lamps, lol.
Alright, onto the food my dude. I don't drink alcohol so it's usually difficult to find a good drink without booze. I asked for the waitress to have the bartender create something from nothing. What they came up with was refreshing, fruity, & I had two, lol. The appetizers we had were more then meets the eye. I mean, the presentation was beautiful, but they looked like "that's not gonna be enough" but, the amount of flavor and love inside each one was crazy gracious. The Potato latkes were my favorite indeed. You'll see the Sicilian Anchovies pictured, and the butter, olive oil, and Anchovies were a great choice for my palate. For the main, I had the poached Halibut and Van Damn it was soft & buttery. The charred cabbage was so good I forgot it was cabbage and the kohlrabi just balanced the every bite like salt does pepper (and vise versa). My cousin had the lamb meatball bomber and was silent for the 5 minutes it took him to scarf it down. I must let you know that it's a sandwich and not jus the meatballs. In conclusion, dinner was crazy delicious. Did I miss anything? Maybe you should visit and find out yourself. Oh yeh, the bathrooms are very well maintained and amply stocked.
Loved this spot and next time I'm up Buffalo we're sliding thru again. Much respect to the team,...
Read moreI’m new to Buffalo and just turned the legal drinking age :) So, my first full dinner and drinks experience ended up being at The Little Club Buffalo! My whole experience was absolutely perfect. Christine and Erika kindly greeted and welcomed me at the door and showed me to my spot at the bar (that I’d reserved online prior). Courtney was the bartender, super knowledgeable about the drink questions I had and she essentially designed my experience (thank goodness!) because I’d wanted to try everything and couldn’t narrow down to a few solid courses, but I had great cruise directors! I started with their Sakura Fitzgerald cocktail which was like a classic gin fitzgerald served up, but I found out they make using ‘Lockhouse Sakura Gin’ which has cherry blossoms infused (& they’re from delaware park!! 🌸) it was so tasty. The Fitz paired very very well with my first course of Crispy Papas. They were well seasoned and delicious. After the fitz and papas, I was recommended a refreshing Mocktail, their Tonico Verde. Tonic, ‘Not-A-Gin’ botanical syrup, lime juice, lovage, celery bitters. This was better than a gin and tonic. I’m really glad I tried it. Now for the MAIN - paired along with a beautiful glass of Bedrock red zinfandel - I more than enjoyed Little Club’s Sirloin. it was served to me at a perfect temperature, sliced and laid over a mushroom crema, next to fresh gorgonzola bread and an endive pickled pepper salad. to die for. I was certainly pushing full at this point. But when Courtney brought their menu back to show and talk to me about dessert options, I couldn’t say no when I saw the house Panna Cotta. It was perfectly creamy with light lemon and honey flavors. I finished with a craft coffee shot that was perfect with dessert. Thank you courtney, christine, erika and everyone at TLC for an...
Read moreCody our server was amazing/attentive. Went here for the first time and liked the bread app and Cody recommended a bottle for wine night. Loved the Sangiovese bottle. Good recommendation.
3 stars because I ordered the sirloin steak and it was not flavorful at all for its price, $46. Needed salt or anything to give it life; and was mixed with the salad (not the problem) with lemon vinaigrette, and the dressing mixed with the steak flavor (the problem) and it just tasted gross mixed together taste wise.
Ive ordered Shishito peppers from NYC, Florida, LA and other foreign countries and usually they come hot and really flavored; these were completely cold and did not give a tasteful impression as apart of our appetizers.
My partner got the chicken leg and said it was good. We wanted dessert to end on a good note and ordered the dessert with cherries and it was just not good, we both were dissatisfied and just wanted to cash out and leave at that point.
They’re were pros and cons to our experience. Overall for a $165 bill, and $33 tip, It did not give me the satisfaction I was hoping for.
Staff was friendly and my review has nothing to do with their work ethic/personality. Some things on the menu can just be moderated and restaurant was a little crowded with how close tables were to other guest, a couple starred at me and my partner during our whole dinner right besides us, giving us no privacy, and it was just uncomfortable and hard to not acknowledge.
I don’t think we’ll eat here again. But, maybe it can be better for the next patron. Also, yes we know you probably don’t care for our money, or how we feel, as you have other guest, but we’re just sharing our...
