⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fun, family-friendly Hill Country spot with a unique twist 🐐🍻
We had such a great time here with my daughters! The staff was incredibly polite and patient, which made the experience smooth and enjoyable — especially since I brought my 3-year-old (who is autistic) and my 1-year-old. It felt like a welcoming space for families, and that means a lot.
The setup is spacious with lots of outdoor seating — picnic tables, Adirondack chairs around fire pits, and plenty of shade from big oak trees. Huge fans are placed throughout the yard, which helps a lot on warm Texas afternoons. Parking is open and plentiful.
One of the biggest highlights is, of course, the goats! They’re in a fenced-in pen that kids can safely enjoy watching up close. Just a heads-up for parents: while the goats are enclosed, the rest of the yard is not, so you’ll want to keep an eye on little ones at all times.
It’s not just a daytime spot, either — at night the place comes alive with a fun social vibe. There are bars inside and two outdoor bars that open up after dark, making it just as perfect for hanging out with friends or date nights as it is for family afternoons.
Accessibility-wise: the main entrance has a small step up, so I’m not sure how easy it is for wheelchairs. Also, most of the outdoor area is loose gravel, which can be tricky for strollers or mobility devices.
Overall, this place nails the combination of great atmosphere, family-friendliness, and Hill Country charm — with a bonus nightlife side. Perfect for a casual afternoon with kids or an evening drink with friends....
Read moreOur experience started off pretty poor and finished only slightly better. The host at the front desk appeared to be very inexperienced and unsure of how to handle some miscommunication with another party who had called ahead and thought they had a reservation. He would leave for long periods of time before returning. After a little while, he finally took our names and said it would be about fifteen minutes, which became more like 25, and only because I reminded him that we'd been there waiting before other parties who were getting seated before us without reservations. We were seated in a dark back corner by a group of ladies who were certainly having a good time but were very loud, making it hard to hear anything. I asked about being reseated at a vacant table nearby and was sent to the manager, then to the host, who told me he'd have to ask the manager. After several more minutes of not being addressed, I sat back down, resigned to having to shout over lunch.
We were eventually reseated when the host came to our table (in a very confined space), but then we waited for a while for our waitress to come take our order. After ordering, it took 20-25 minutes to receive our food. I ordered the Cajun croque madame, and the other three with me ordered different burgers. All said the same- they were okay but not that great. I thought the same about my meal. For the price and the wait, it certainly wasn't worth it.
I wouldn't go back unless it was just to play Sunday bingo, and I wasn't eating there. The place had a kind of fun vibe but was certainly...

Save yourself the trouble and just order a regular meal. It was pathetic the catfish we received. When they bring you more, it was two tiny pieces for 4 adults. And you wait and wait wait for two tiny pieces of catfish for a table of six. My in-laws are not from around here and we’re pretty disappointed in the amount of food we received and the insane amount of wait time. I ate maybe $5 worth of catfish for $20. I am not pleased. They shouldn’t call it “all you can eat”, it’s more like “all you can order and hopefully get”, which was a waste of time and money.
OLD REVIEW/ORIGINAL: We’ve been twice recently, since moving to the area and both times have been great. This place is kid friendly, which we are thrilled about because so many places aren’t. The service here is prompt and there are plenty of staff ready to help you. Our waitress Gyna gave us excellent service and she was super friendly and nice! The food is also very good. Our daughter eats the whole hamburger here and she’s only one! The Turkey poboy and the loaded fries are maybe the best around.
I’ve had poboys in Louisiana and these here are just as good. The beer is ice cold and the cocktails are excellent. We are happy this place is in the neighborhood and is the perfect spot for weekday happy hour. We can’t wait to come back and bring our family and friends. Thank you...
