Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Burkburnett

Most nastiness place to eat. They need a health inspection BAD!!! went in to have a sit down breakfast and the first things I notice are the flies and the smell of garbage (inside). The floors and tables are sticky and not cleaned. The walls have splatters of soda and water stains (all the walls). The 3 employees working would rather be standing around and talking and not assisting customers and cleaning. It took me 20 min to get a cold sausage biscuit and old re fried hash browns(I threw it awa). No one is wearing gloves or hairnets and have nasty stained work uniforms (who did the employees servsafe). If you’re passing thru and went to the drive thru I wish you luck because I watched 1 employee handle your food with bare hands that did not look clean. Why does the bathroom and dining area smell the same??? Shoppers beware of this braums! Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 10 min into Wichita Falls and eat at a better place where the restaurant is ACTUALLY maintained and cared about. I also noticed bugs all over the ketchup dispensers that are located by the old dilapidated fly infested fountain drink machine. Shut down that Braums in burkbernette Texas unless you like bare handed strangers handling your food as the flies crawl over what you ordered. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE EAT AT THIS LOCATION! Have you ever seen an episode of the old tv show "Twilight Zone"? That's what we felt like after we went into this place. We asked if they had a lettuce wrap. Not one person that worked there and there were about 5 at the counter had any idea what we meant. I proceeded to tell them we were talking about leaves of lettuce in place of a bun on the sandwich, and explained for medical reasons my wife couldn't eat regular buns. The reply was that they only had shredded lettuce even though the pic of the sandwich in the window showed leaf lettuce. We then asked if they had gluten free buns and they looked at us like we were aliens. It was like these people had not made it out of the 20th century. Don't know whether it was just this one or all Braum's that don't have gluten free buns. It would behoove them to start carrying them, or at least offer a lettuce wrap in place of the bun. Some national chains have been offering lettuce wraps for almost a decade. We definitely won't waste our time stopping in this...

Horrible customer service, it was obviously an understaffed location. I don’t mind going somewhere that is understaffed but you could tell all the employees had enough and they were taking it out on the customers. The cashier was new and having problems understanding the system which is totally understandable but when another woman came over to help, rather than teaching her she pushed her out of the way and rudely asked for our order. Once we got our food the chicken was microwaved a little too long and was hard and tasted terrible. The bathrooms weren’t clean and neither were the tables and floors. A bit of water damage on the ceiling that had obviously not been taken care of. The soda machines were gross and had not been cleaned at all. The manager was there and greeted people in a monotone way without ever looking up. Great french fries and ice cream is good as always. I love braums but if you are near this location...
