I originally tried garden path when they first opened, and I will say that I wasn't all that impressed, the beers were so funky you couldn't really pull much else out of them.
This holiday season, I grabbed a few of their older mature barrel aged beers and took them to Thanksgiving to try with our beer savy family (home brewers, beer competition judges, and a Deschutes employee). I'm happy to report that garden path, in our opinion, beat out all the other beers (sours) that were brought to the table, including ones from Dirty Couch, Ale Apothecary, and Holy Mountain.

He said he could fill one but they don’t have any. I asked what they do for a “to go” option and he pointed out some drinks in a fridge. The entire interaction with the employee was terrible. He was not helpful and gave no good input, and just seemed like he couldn’t figure out what I was looking for. He seemed annoyed that I was trying to get something to take home.
